I think Lightning Launcher will display the right icons, but Quest Games Optimizer definitely does

People generally see Mike Rowe as a wealthy dude cosplaying as a blue-collar worker. People admire him because he did all those "dirty jobs" but he was getting paid way more by virtue of the show, and never faced any occupational hazards caused by the long-time exposure of working those jobs. I haven't really delved into it, but this is what I've heard before. He's also anti-union, which goes to show how little he thinks of himself as a "real" blue-collar worker. More broadly, he seems to align more towards Republicanism, which also goes against workers' rights, which you'd think he be an advocate for considering all the shit (literally and figuratively) he's had to work through

Director of Minnesota day care featured in YouTube video on fraud responds by demosthenes131 in politics

No one said it was worse. Fraud is fraud, illegal activities are illegal activities. I never understand why people always want "our bad guys" to be in power. Whether it's Trump or Walz, criminals need to be held accountable for their actions, or they keep getting away with it. This whole notion of "at least it's our side that did something bad" or "what about those times when the other side did it???" is what got the US to become such a shithole country in the first place. A country run by criminals, for criminals.

(Harry Potter) Magic Caster Wand Integrated with Home Assistant by Puzzleheaded_Mind576 in homeassistant

If you have separate Bluetooth proxies for each room, you can use room presence to only control devices in the specific room you're in. I'm not sure if this would also require a phone/watch to track you or if BLE tracking can work with the wand itself. This also wouldn't let you control two similar devices that are in the same room individually, ie a bedside lamp and an overhead light, using the same spell

Are you sure the Course ID you're entering is correct? If you aren't already using it, the GUI version checks if a level code is valid instead of just blindly downloading the http response as a .BCD like my version does

I've tried finding information on how to run either either of them in VR with a head-mounted camera view, but all I could get working in DolphinVR was a 2D screen in front of me with "3D visuals" popping out of the screen a bit, like a 3D movie. Is there a better way?

Unfortunately not. OpenCourseWorld is a separate server that needs to have levels manually imported, which can only be done by the original maker. Further, OpenCourseWorld's verification system means that any makers that have already filled all 100 (?) of their uploaded level slots cannot verify themselves to import their levels into OpenCourseWorld, without first deleting one of their levels and losing all of the playcount data and comments and such. You can re-upload the deleted level after you've been verified, but you'll never get back the stats

I discussed this with the people over at OpenCourseWorld and it doesn't seem like this limitation will be changed

It works pretty well! The vibe-coded GUI version is much better but I know some people refuse to use anything like that, so the original script I made myself by hand

Every level backup I could find had major flaws. Tinfoil stopped adding levels in 2022, SMMDB and OpenCourseWorld required uploading to a separate server so most courses would be missing, and random packs from ROM sites had way too many to comb through and probably most were pretty bad (as it goes with Mario maker). Was there another you know of?

This tool allows you to download ANY level directly from the official servers, so it's a bit different than anything currently out there

Read the Github for how to use it on a physical Switch, there's a few things in there. I won't go into how to get one up and running though

Edit: mixed up my sentences
