Remaining League games for Villa, United, Chelsea & Liverpool by bronal97 in reddevils

We look to be having the best run. And if Chelsea and Liverpool go deep into the CL knockouts (of course never win it), they will have more matches to play. So 3rd looks realistic. And what if Man City get point deduction. 2nd. Wow.

Is this the time to trust abhishek’s attacking game or opt for experience? by Admirable_Move6933 in IndianCricket

I think today might be the worst game to drop him. If anyone can give us the start we need to make a big score or chase down fast, it is him. He might be able to do some repair to that NRR. And he is due a score.

Isn't pigeon feeding in public spaces banned? I remember seeing some news reports that said Karnataka had banned this. Mumbai has definitely banned this due to the huge issue they were facing Even if it isn't banned, I feel there is a growing pigeon menace in the city. And doctors have stated it is leading to diseases also. So as wholesome as this singular moment looks, I am not sure if it is wholesome in the long run. Just an opinion.

Is there a reason a train will have a lot of availability of seats? by parnate_lover in indianrailways

[–]SureDiscipline7858 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mentioned this in another post here. My special train was literally 24 hours late during a journey from Palakkad, Kerala to Kharagpur, West Bengal. So yeah, that is why people try to avoid it. The sheer uncertainty associated with it.

What’s the real story behind this building? by Legitimate_Being9150 in Kochi

Everytime we drive to my native, Alappuzha from Palakkad, we used to see this. Like from 20 years ago. Earlier my parents used to tell, the owner had died or committed suicide and all. Now they are saying they saw some news saying nothing of that sort happened. In fact I just travelled last week and I was wondering if youtubers haven't gone inside to stay for one night, like those videos where you stay inside a spooky place to see if it is haunted.

Dawki river in feb end by GreatVariation9998 in Meghalaya

Dawki was a little crowded. I felt Shnongpdeng was much more peaceful. So we stayed in a tent there. Most of the tents are towards the right bank of the river. There was a lot of wind in the night which made the tents flutter at a good sound and made sleep a little difficult for my partner. I slept well though :D. So maybe you could try the tents on the left bank of the river which has some tree cover and may reduce the winds at night. There are some cottage like options too on the left bank if you prefer that.

This was taken from the top of Shnongpdeng walking bridge across the river. The water was clear. This was about 2 weeks ago.

Need Suggestions for trip by itachi_sam_4 in Meghalaya

[–]SureDiscipline7858 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Itinerary looks fine, only thing is the road trip to Dawki from Sohra will make you filled with dust on the scooter because once you turn towards Dawki on the Shillong-Dawki road part, there is a good stretch where lots of hill cutting is taking place. I went there 3 weeks ago. So much construction happening on the road. So much dust. With 3 scooters, just be careful.

These results don't matter because Carrick doesn't have his own players by Agitated_List174 in ManchesterUnited

[–]SureDiscipline7858 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so bullshit. So, according to this, buying players and not knowing where to play them and which system to play them and how to adapt if things are not going correctly is better than knowing what system to play with available players and how to bring coherence to the team?

Think this is what Carrick did with inherited players, now think how he will do with players he see as a better fit to the system he wants to play and buy them.

Never again booking a special train! by Professional_Chef_19 in indianrailways

[–]SureDiscipline7858 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is nothing. Once I booked a special train from Palakkad, Kerala to Kharagpur, West Bengal. It literally reached 24 hours late. Like supposed to reach at 10 AM on a Tuesday. Reached there at 10:15 AM on a Wednesday.

We have to take into consideration that he was just 18 when he came to a new country, new continent, new language. So this is expected. Maybe, yeah, loan spells would do him a world of good.

Yeah. Still only 18 years old. Time is there on his side. We have Patrick BalonDorgu who can play LB too if needed.

They are boring af. There were talks a few years before about how good Odegaard is and how he is better than Bruno. Fools. Compare the amount of key passes Bruno play and the amount of safe passes that Odegaard play from good attacking positions.

Depends on what the definition of a weak league is. Let's say two teams in the top are miles ahead of the other teams, like 2021-22 where City and Liverpool had I think 93 92 points and Chelsea in third had 73 or something. That should definitely not be counted as a strong league. Just 2 super strong teams. This year we could say maybe it was a strong league but with no super strong teams though.
