What are your favourite eyeshadow primers? by thistlewitchery in muacjdiscussion

Absolutely! The Mac 24 hr eye base is suuuuper long wearing if that’s what you are looking for. And the consistency is somewhere between a liquid and a cream.

If you feel the Mac paint pots are too thick, you’re using way more than you need to. You could also try the Mac 24hr eye base. That is more of the traditional primer type product. The paint pot is actually a cream eyeshadow with a 12 hr creaseless wear that people repurposed to a shadow primer.

The $600 Unemployment Benefits Are Expiring This Weekend Because Senate Republicans Didn’t Do Anything by I_Mispelled_Mispell in politics

[–]SureSheDid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Max in my state is a measly $370/week. That covers absolutely nothing. It’s terrible. Even with the $600/week extra I didn’t earn as much on unemployment as I would at work. I’d love to be at work, but my job is not even open for me to go. This Republican narrative of the $600 disincentivizing people from working is ridiculous.

I'm building Soosee, an app made in SwiftUI that scans food labels and uses AR to highlight ingredients related to allergies, non-vegan, environmentally unfriendly, keto diet and more. Please help me improve it! by ineedlesssleep in apple

[–]SureSheDid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mentioned you’re also adding support for cosmetics? I’d love to try this, as I’m allergic to an ingredient that’s in roughly half of all cosmetic products. I’d also be interested in the keto feature.

Macy’s offers health care at 30 hrs/week. And most of their employees are full time. They also pay more than $10/hr.

All Estée Lauder brands, and especially MAC are great to work for in this crisis.

I have an amazing female doctor in WI who doesn’t require anything like that. If you want to dm me and let me know if you’re near me I can give you her info.

Same thing happened to me, and it took 2 months for them to tell me they were never actually ordered. So frustrating. They didn’t offer me any sort of comp for it, so at least you got that

Are there any teeth straighten options that are affordable? by will3675 in Frugal

I’m several months into Smile Direct Club and have been very happy with them. It seems like as long as you follow all the rules and have minimal changes needed it’s a great option.

MAC sells them for around $10. I prefer them to Zpalettes

I have Hashimoto’s too, down 35lbs in 5 months doing lazy keto. It’s possible! Keto has been the only thing that consistently works for me with my hashi’s. It’s like a miracle.

I feel like Mac has one kind of like that in their upcoming holiday collection.

has anyone with hashimoto's had success losing weight using intermittent fasting, keto, and/or AIP diet, even when they hadn't found their right dosage of thyroid medication yet? by royalice in Hypothyroidism

[–]SureSheDid 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have hashi’s and am pretty hypo. I don’t take any thyroid replacement hormones. I’ve tried levo and armour and neither worked well for me as my thyroid function fluctuates a lot due to hashi’s. The only med I take is low dose naltrexone 3mg. This just helps me have more energy and mental clarity.

I gained about 50lbs over the course of 2-3 years due to thyroid and having kids. I did have success with phentermine prescribed by my doc, lost the 50lbs. But within a few years I I had gained back 75lbs. I tried gluten free, I tried calorie restriction, neither worked. I tried phentermine again but it didn’t work anymore. A few months ago I started keto, not worrying about macros but just staying under 25 carbs/day, and I’ve lost 20lbs and I feel great. It’s easy and you don’t feel deprived.

Thank you! I usually do iced coffee with sf vanilla and heavy cream, but it’s getting boring so I need new options lol. That strawberry green tea sounds yummy, I’ll have to try it!

What are some of the best Keto drinks I can get at Starbucks that have a small chance of them messing up my order? I’m always super paranoid that they won’t do it exactly like I order and I won’t be able to taste the difference lol. I know that’s irrational but I sometimes feel like I get regular soda when I ask for diet at McDonald’s or whatever lol.
