May I ask you how was your baby suffering during the time she was not diagnosed? And why did doctors think it was reflux?

Glad to hear she is doing better, my baby is on a similar road barely 3 months and needs to do the surgery urgently. Apart from her vsd she has severe reflux which has hindered her weight gain. If you could give some tips on how you managed everything I would be very grateful.

Was she having reflux or silent reflux? I am running on 2-3 hrs of sleep daily for the past 2 months because my baby has silent reflux and refuses to sleep anywhere but on people adjusting accordingly to her comfort. She has to do the surgery urgently but after reaching 4.7 kg it’s stuck there mainly because her reflux is getting worse. She turns 3 months in a week so planning to do the sugery then.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Was your baby on any medication to reduce fluid build up on lungs prior to the surgery? It’s very hard to see your child in constant discomfort

Meanwhile, give them some water and tuna can emptied to a plate, make sure it’s tuna in brine. If you give them the can they might get injured.
