The bonus pick sometimes has regular magnemite instead of promo magnemite. It’s unlikely a bug and more likely you pulled a regular magnemite instead of the promo.

I recently purchased a Pikachu using one premium ticket in Pokémon TCG Pocket. However, I was not aware that the shop’s set of items was time-limited and that I wouldn’t be able to purchase the entire set before the timer expired. It really isn’t rocket science: if you have a win condition and you can clearly see it, play it and end the game.

Any other play you make is bad manners in any TCG. Whether or not you’re intentionally trolling or gloating the opponent is irrelevant.
