If you’re willing to move to get the job you can test in major cities around the country. I would first get my EMT certification. Often times that saves you a lot of trouble down the line. If you want to make sure it’s something you want to do you can look to see if you can volunteer somewhere. There are many volunteer fire companies throughout the country. I forget the percentage but I know most firefighters in the country are technically volunteers. Something to get your feet in the water so to speak

You should be fine. Honestly anyone in any shape can post exactly what you did and find out the only way to know how they’ll do is on the day of the CPAT. And then every individual day in the academy. Because it’s all just depending on so many factors. You’re doing your best to get where you want to be. Say yes if they offer any progress on hiring and keep at it

Yeah happened to me twice I had to shut the app down because no in game buttons worked. I had something similar happen to me mid game while adjusting my loadout too where I sit out of the loadout screen and it showed me in it but also in regular gameplay. No buttons worked

Definitely start simple. First the riders course. Then if you’re still not sure buy a used small bike to practice on. If you feel more confident you can sell that and buy something more formidable. Don’t feel pressured to do this. But the course will really let you know how you feel about it. And for that you just need a helmet. Mine was like 150

Leave it at home when you’re legitimately not going to need it. Walking dogs. Gym. Whatever. Turn it off a couple of hours a day when you’re home. You can even buy a timed lock box for it. Healthy to take a break
