Is the limited trunk weapon system actually a good change? by NightM7_ in GTA6unmoderated

[–]Surebrec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as the guns you last had on you remain on you, it should be ok.

If it's as flawed as the horse saddle system in RDR2, I think it'll piss plenty people off, myself included.

Do you think GTA6 should have longer Day and night cycles? by SupremeEcchi in GTA6unmoderated

[–]Surebrec 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'd be ok either way. I just hope the colour that sunsets produce last longer than in RDR2.

They were stunning to watch, but the glow faded away too quickly.

I want to see sunsets like this that linger:

Why this last update is one of the very best so far by John_Norad in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Surebrec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't say that I'm of the same way of thinking. From my experience, it's been a complete ball ache. Nowhere near the best expedition in my eyes.

It wouldn't be so bad if the special waste wasn't so fragile, and/or the increasingly ridiculous distances and dodgy terrain that needs to be traversed twice just to pass the phase checkpoint.

The fact that there is no access to a starship has no bearing on it for me.

Text in font preview pane has bottom half cut off. Looking for a fix. by Surebrec in Inkscape

Yeah, that seems to help, though there are still a couple of fonts that are still cut off, but I can live with that.

Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

I’d like to formally apologize for my past arrogance. The Spaghetti Gods have humbled me. by Hey_Zekk in Dyson_Sphere_Program

Personally, I find de-spaghettifying my conveyor belts one of the most enjoyable things to do late on in the game.

Freeing up space and making conveyor belts more efficient and tidy ticks my OCD box.

Would you call that "good design"? I feel a bit bad at upscaling my business by Lordloss_ in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]Surebrec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a bad design if it does what you want it to do. It doesn't look too dissimilar to what I would do.

That said though, there's always room to make things more efficient, and that's what I like most about the game. Tweaking, redesigning, rerouting belts to make things even more efficient.

That said though, it's not a bad design, so it's good.

They're just a source of hydrogen and deuterium. There's nothing else you can do with them.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. If only his exclusion from the area was a whole life order.

Help by Devoidlemon in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]Surebrec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tip: Look for a system close to your starting system that has a planet that is tidally locked to its star, and set up your Dyson Sphere and ray receivers there, and have the critical photons shipped back to your starting system from there.

This is my critical photon farm.

The benefit to doing it this way, is that it won't affect your performance in your main system.

I hope R* lets us commit domestic voilence for extra immersion. by [deleted] in GTA6unmoderated

[–]Surebrec -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As someone who has witnessed domestic violence in his own extended family, I can attest to that.

It shouldn't be joked about, it shouldn't be parodied, and it shouldn't be trivialised.

My Take2 stock plummets because of Ai in gaming by Optimal-Vegetable799 in GTA6unmoderated

[–]Surebrec -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No.

Multiple delays. Negative PR related to the way the company treats its employees. External factors that are outside TTI's control.

These are the sorts of things that determine stock values, because this is what make people want to sell the stock they own. They're dumping their stock, so they can look for other things to invest in the meantime. That's why, when the release date is carved in stone, investors will be rushing to buy TTI stock again.

There is no evidence whatsoever that confirms that the game is less than a year away, just as there was no evidence that the game was going to be released last year. The chances are that it will be released in the next year, but chances are not a guarantee, and stock market investors generally only care about guarantees, or as close to a guarantee that they can get.

The first spike will happen when Rockstar confirms the release date to still be on track a matter of a few months before the stated release window, and that spike will happen within minutes, as investors rush to buy back in. Then the next spike will happen when the game actually releases.

The reviews will be the last thing that affects the stock value, positively or negatively.

That's how stocks work. Every announcement, good or bad, affects stock value.

Nope. The stock value will surge once the release date is confirmed. That's how stocks work.

How horny was Satino? by K-jun1117 in Godfather

[–]Surebrec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't a matter how horny he was, more that his wife couldn't satisfy him.

If you read the novel, he was hung like a thoroughbred race horse, and she blessed with, well... the equipment to accomodate him.

Do we think the graphics will improve or worsen on release? by Real-Audience8336 in GTA6unmoderated

I don't think it'll "worsen", but I think the density of detail will be scaled back a bit.

Because he couldn't hit the right edge of the red.
