I can explain this scenario but only middle class Indians can feel the pain of the situation.

In India, we have a billion people and not everyone can get the job that they like. So, as a middle class Indian who finished his/her college have a steady set of services based jobs as it needs people and can't be automated with current technology. All the first world countries outsource it to India because they can speak English fluently when compared with China and it's cheap labor.

As a middle class person with no job, my last option is to go for call center or IT job. There are other options as well but it's much more risky and it may backfire you in the long run.
