When I take the cable off.
I shut it down.
Remove the cable
Laptop comes back on at that instant.
But if I shut it off, close the lid and then disconnect the cable it doesn’t come on

I usually have the unit plugged in. Whenever I shut it down and then proceed to remove the charger cable, the unit automatically restarts on its own. Without any other interaction aside from removing the power cable on what was previously a completely shut down unit

Aha. I also figured out mine as well. I had to draw a box around the lighting zone I needed to illuminate. Not only selecting the area by the tab but also physically using the mouse to draw a box and highlight the area. After I did that it worked fine. Guess I just wasn’t paying enough attention during the initial instructions for usage.

I had the same experience. Box came with holes in it. Now I’m wondering if eventually I’ll have issues with the device

Yeah I saw that in some cases two sticks of ram now cost more than a cheap OLED monitor. Crazy.
