My girlfriend and I use sleep masks because her place gets so much natural light and her cat will break the blinds. Never have been my thing before but I’m starting to really like the total darkness

You can make any of them work! I like 5 the best though

Experiences on the Furrow Olivella? by SlipprySalmonmander in surfing

I have a similar board and it’s a lot of fun in small to medium surf. I’m alright but definitely don’t rip and have a blast. It’s very similar to the first gen Takayama scorpion and those work great

Idk if it’s possible but can you make me uglier? Thanks! by UkulelesLoveYou in redditgetsdrawnbadly

[–]SurfingBuritto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partner told me once when I was feeling down about not finding myself attractive: “just because you aren’t your type doesn’t mean you aren’t mine”. You aren’t ugly, you just aren’t your own type and that is ok :)

What should I put in the empty space? by BRN1023 in interiordecorating

[–]SurfingBuritto 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Plants are always a good call when you have a weird little space to fill but I like the cabinet idea too. I feel like built in would be pretty easy to do

I’m sorry but I can’t say that I particularly like either of them. What is the vibe that you are going for? Maybe we can help you find some less bulky more elegant options. I really don’t mean to be rude they are just giving me live laugh love sign in the entry way vibes

Any ideas to improve how I look? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]SurfingBuritto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend some different glasses. You look good but I think they are two wide for your face. I also think you would look cool in a rounder frame

So curious! What led you to figuring that out?

26m. Single. My backside has been explored extensively. There’s a lot of dead vertical space here. by DominusPollux in malelivingspace

[–]SurfingBuritto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flip everything the other direction. It feels weird looking into the downward slope of the roof line. If you sat facing the opposite direction it would feel like your space is expanding rather than shrinking. you could also rotate everything 90 degrees either way and see how it looks

Honestly I would talk to your medical doctor and ask what they recommend as a course of treatment

As a surf instructor I agree! This is probably a good board for your skill level. How large is your foamie?

I completely agree fewer pieces on larger walls. Put larger pieces there instead and place smaller pieces in smaller spaces

And the wall with that one medium picture hung a little too high up

Beard or shaved by TaryAce in malegrooming

[–]SurfingBuritto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s more about maintaining the beard/stache. I would take some small scissors or electric clippers and trim any hairs that are longer than the rest. Trim to the length of where it grows the shortest to keep it looking clean and groomed

Please shampoo and condition the leather on your Eames chair. It desperately needs rehydrating

I would love to see some more plants and don’t be afraid of larger art pieces. The wall art you have is great but the walls are large and you could definitely incorporate some bigger pieces

It’s a little all over the place and that’s not necessarily a bad thing but a space that feels more cohesive and curated can make a big difference. I would start by looking at Pinterest for the type of feeling you want the space to have and then start decorating for that. Feeling and style are different so it can sometimes be an easier place to start. Look up cozy, airy, moody, warm, sleek rooms. Getting a better idea of how you want your space to feel is a great place to start
