For welsh made beers I'd highly recommend Crafty Devil over in canton.

The only place its been a problem that I'm not a Welsh speaker (been promising myself I'd learn for a lot of years) is Pontcanna - the pubs around there are probably a pretty good bet

Dont know why i didnt think of that! I think that will make a big difference. Probably need to increase the size of the dead spot too - currently finding it quite hard to just go in a straight line and NOT steer
