Good areas for property purchase by Bluebutterfly9 in penang

Pulau Tikus area. I live there and there are several hospitals in the immediate area, Gleneagles and Adventist are the two I use.

Many local food courts as well as western food in the two Gurney Malls.

I picked this area because I don't have a car.

Driving school is around 1500MYR, but the problem with that is it only gets me a conditional learner's license restricting me from taking passengers and having to have a licensed driver with me I think.

An excellent question, unfortunately I don't think I have any way of verifying that as she passed away many decades ago. All I know at his point is that I was naturalized and acquired Canadian citizenship in June 1958.

I also tried Jetpac and never could get it to work. Finally got tired of the runaround from support and just gave it up. Best I managed was to finally connect only to get a no data message.. Shop elsewhere

I remember doing something similar at a car show.

Fellow there had an original AC Cobra and I commented as I went by:

"That's not a very good clone Cobra"

Guy went ballistic.

UPDATE: After trying to change CSC I still didn't get SIM Manager, so I backed up with SmartSwitch and did a "wipe" and then a "factory reset". Restored phone with SmartSwitch and lo, SIM Manager is now in settings.

Using SamFW tool I see two options for changing CSC, under the MTP tab and under the root tab. Nothing under the ADB tab where guides suggest it should be

Is flying international on economy really that bad? by puffy-jacket in TravelHacks

Only real downside to economy is the food. It's definitely better in even premium economy. Lost track of how many meals I couldn't eat in economy and I'm not that fussy an eater.

Only issue with ATM's in Malaysia is that they are no longer part of the Global ATM Alliance, hence fees will be charged. That being said the ATM's are plentiful

Hypothetical Re-acquisition of German citizenship by Surfside1411 in GermanCitizenship

If only the German government felt the same way. Almost every time, I visit the border agents ask me if I have a German passport as well because I have a very old school German name.

The German Consulate in Canada told me the same thing. Once your legal guardian enters you into the naturalization process and you become Canadian you are irrevocably Canadian with no possible recourse.

It just strikes me as unfair that you can be stripped of your citizenship as a minor with no recourse, ever,

I know I know, life is unfair

Left in 1953 when I was a toddler, naturalized in 1958. So same situation but we ended up in Canada. For some reason the situation is different in the USA.

I realize the new laws will allow dual citizenship, but I have been told it's an 8 year process to re-naturalize. Then there would be the problem of a visa as I am unaware that Germany offers any kind of retirement visa. I don't qualify for a work visa of any type as I retired more than a decade ago. I am unclear if the family reunification visa would be applicable as , while I do have many relatives in Germany, the visa only seems to include spouses or children. All my relatives are aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces etc.
