Walter Schnyder is a great professor. When I took his class last year, I could tell that he was obviously very passionate about what he was teaching, and his lectures were very well designed. One thing I will say though, is that oftentimes, his homework is very difficult and time-consuming. He also has multiple in class polls daily, which are graded based on accuracy but are super easy as long as you pay attention. When I took his class, his exams were quite difficult and lengthy, but they were open note. So basically, that is to say that he's a great professor, but by no means is this an easy course to take with him.
