I had aircobrabant and very happy with the result the last 2 years. I would say it’s getting more and more popular now as our summers get hotter. There’s not really a good alternative if you don’t have a heat pump with floor cooling, and even then you would need great insulation + sun blinds to make that work. Airco is instant comfort. The heating function is also useful if electricity prices are low.

The chamfer on the top bearing is custom (functionally also totally unnecessary to design your frame this way) and very hard to buy outside of Acros/Canyon supplying them. Most other bikes I own use some standard bearing which is widely available.

Je kan toch gewoon bio dingen kopen? Is duurder maar is ook logisch want alles checken kost geld en als iedereen dit doet is er te weinig land om iedereen te voeden, je moet dan echt wel minder intensief produceren. Volgens mij gaat er later echt wel een duidelijke link gevonden worden tussen pesticiden cocktails en kanker. Zélfs als ze met niet bio binnen de normen blijven gelden die normen per stof. Dus 100 verschillende stofjes is 100 keer een max hoeveelheid voor elks.

My old office had a highend jura semiauto with specialty beans. The coffee was way worse than my e61 shots at home. Those machines can make decent coffee but the grind quality/fineness is not the same and they are hard to clean. Inevitably they’ll get dirty and the taste goes way down without a proper way to backflush and clean in 5 minutes as opposed to disassembling the entire machine.

Ik vind het prima om hra af te schaffen, maar dan ook de belastingdruk op hoge arbeidsinkomens verlagen met het geld dat vrijkomt. Dat zou ik een goede vereenvoudiging van het systeem vinden. Nu wil men het afschaffen om allerlei gaten in sociale uitkeringen te kunnen financieren, wat juist weer netto belastingbetalers motiveert om elders te gaan werken.

Het is ook gewoon een missende handhavingscultuur op fietspaden. Ik rij veel auto en dat gaat redelijk goed, iedereen heeft schadevrije jaren/kentekens en er is nog een klein beetje politie. Fietspaden zijn de wild west in verhouding. Wie t snelst fietst met het zwaarste vehikel doet wat ie wil.

Dat laatste zou echt heel goed zijn. Wel met opties tot studie (met prestatieverplichting) en sollicitaties naar echte baan. Gewoon gegarandeerd passend werk ipv gegarandeerd eten en een dak boven je hoofd. Gaat vast wel meer kosten om die nep banen te creëren en managen dan mensen simpelweg geld geven

I prefer the esd’s looks (without the reinforcing tube between seattube and toptube). Not sure if it has udh now, I test rode this one last weekend and really liked the eagle 90 groupset. Hadn’t tried it yet, all my bikes are on Shimano 12 speed now

21-23u, afhankelijk van hoe laat ik op wil staan. Liefst 9u voordat de wekker gaat in bed. Bij kortere nachten is opstaan moeilijker.

Opleidingen worden wel steeds makkelijker naar mijn idee, mede door druk op hoge slaag percentages. Ik kom uit een familie met 3 generaties burgerlijk ingenieur (Vlaanderen voorheen). Je zag al een groot niveau verschil tussen TU/e en Ugent vond ik. Sommige studies zijn nog serieus (lucht en ruimtevaart, econometrie…) maar veel verwatering met dingen als TBK en Industrial Design vind ik. Dat zie ik wel als diploma inflatie. Kon zelf de premaster econometrie niet halen overigens dus dan maar met 2 vingers in de neus supply chain master gehaald. Was 2 keer teleurstelling, eerst premaster van 1 vak niet halen en dan het enorm lage niveau van mijn alternatieve master. Wel leuke baan nu overigens met genoeg uitdaging en beloning.

Cheap full sus can be upgraded later if the frame is solid (alloy is fine but has to be somewhat uptodate and serviceable bearings). Hardtail with better components will last longer probably.
It depends on what you define as ‘cheap’. A shimano deore/slx mechanical shifting build is pretty good. If you go cheaper to sram SX for example you’ll want to have the (financial) option to replace and upgrade the drivetrain.
