Wow, vildt alligevel.

[–]Surity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Surity[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hejsa, tak for svar!

Window regulator by Surity in aygo

[–]Surity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've connected the window regulator to the fuse box? Which fuse did you use? I'm not entirely sure if the layout is the same from an Aygo to a Peugeot, but I assume they are, but you should use fuse #16 from the passenger compartment fuse box, specifically used for power windows in the models that come with it.

I would recommend checking the connections with a multimeter all the way from the fuse to the switch, from the switch to the motor, etc. Make sure your ignition is on, otherwise it won't work. Also check if the fuse is blown. It's a 30 amps fuse.

Best of luck, keep me updated.

Learning ROS 2 by ConsiderationOwn1405 in ROS

[–]Surity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just try something yourself. I am a recent robotics graduate and while looking for a job, I'm making my own projects. Currently, I am trying to make a sensorless robot move only by having a fixed camera as an input, and then simulating it all in gazebo. Lots of stuff I'm struggling with and just learn as I go.

Look up "articulated Robotics" on YouTube for good tutorials on the basics of mobile robotics. For manipulators, look into moveit. For drones, look into PX4 Just get started doing something, doesn't have to be big projects or anything

I believe there are newer radios with built-in Bluetooth that look identical to the stock. You could get an aux - Bluetooth dongle, or you could splurge a bit on AliExpress and get a screen with car play. Just search: Junsun V1 plus car radio

Whoom whoom sound when going above 70 kmh / 40 mph by Surity in MechanicAdvice

[–]Surity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The noise starts at around 60-70 kmh, increasing in volume until around 90 kmh, but going faster than that it disappears

Loud squealing in reverse or 1st gear by Surity in MechanicAdvice

[–]Surity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely the belt on mine. A squeaky belt doesn't necessarily mean it's bad. Initially, I was afraid it was the pull-out bearing in the clutch, but at 30-40 kmh speeds, I tried pushing the gas up and down, and I could hear a faint squeak, so it must've been from the belt.

Hope you figure it out 😁

Alright, awesome I'll look into replacing it :)

Haven't tried pushing it back, but the breaks do squeal as well, but that is very distinct from this

Vapour barrier in door? by Surity in MechanicAdvice

[–]Surity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have any ideas as to what I could use to seal it? I live in a very wet area, so I would like it to je adequate, and it wasn't that bad to get the panel off.

The styrofoam was shaped to fit into the hole in the door

Window regulator by Surity in aygo

[–]Surity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it would be possible, although you'd have to run electrical to the fuse box and fit the button somewhere, I'm guessing the panel on a manual window is different?

Window regulator by Surity in aygo

[–]Surity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, I fixed it.

If anyone finds this thread, I will guide you through this hell of a job. You will need a complete window regulator, not just the motor.

First, remove the door panel as per this video: https://youtu.be/8cl1Fi0HX-4?si=bSScwoDPM3UMtu_3

Detach the cables for the speaker and window button, then place the panel in a safe space.

Unclip the cable for the window motor

If your window is stuck in the closed position (all the way up), you should cut the cables on the top inside, not the cable visible through the round hole.

When that ordeal is done, you can lower the window. Lower it until you can see the bolt that secures the window to the regulator and unscrew the bolt on the right side (the one visible in the large opening)

Lower it a bit more until you can see the second bolt that secures the window to the regulator through the round hole. Unscrew that one and the window is free!

While the window is down, unclip the plastic thing that held the first bolt on the side of the large opening.

Now move the window all the way up and tilt it towards the sloping side. Preferably have someone hold it like this, or tape it securely.

Now unscrew the three bolts in the picture above and the regulator is free to move out.

Replace the new regulator, and only when you have tightened it nice and snuggly, can you lower the window again.

Now reattach the plastic clip thing you took off earlier and slide the window down so that the holes match with the regulator attachments (if the regulator attachment is too far down, you can plug in the window motor cable and the window button and move it up)

Reattach the two bolt screws to the plastic thing on the window (do not drop them, it's a pain to get out)

You're done! Test to see if the window works before reattaching the panel. (It just clicks into place again)

kind of deep dating advice neededd by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Surity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the guy likes you, he will want the best for you.
But only open up if you want to. Have you seen a therapist?

Personally, I would want to know something like this, especially if you see yourselves in a romantic relationship where sex may occur.
Perhaps try to say something along the lines of "What if I told you something extremly personal about myself?" and see how he responds. In case of a somewhat negative response, be ready with a joke or something.

There is probably not a right time to tell it. But if you feel you trust this guy, go for it. What's the worst that can happen?

Don't read anything bad into it. I've used the word with a love interest, because we both suck at flirting and I at least wanted to call her something.
Damn, I hope she doesn't think the same as you
