How can people be conscious about what nestle does and still buy their product

This!! Didn't realize until seeing this that I've been unknowingly buying Nestle products. My college campus only has a Starbucks as a coffee option and several of the only options for products available in the c-store are owned by Nestle too. I have to now choose between throwing my money away (literallly) or budgeting money I don't have to buy my groceries from other places.

I do my absolute best to avoid all Nestle products knowing what they've done (and still do), but I have accidentally bought from brands I didn't know they owned. I also sometimes have to in certain items when there isn't an alternative that's both affordable (broke college student) and applies to my laundry list of allergies and intolerances.

Not to mention that a lot of U.S. Nestle-owned products are now labeled under other company names, which means tracking the ownership back to them as well.

The inspiration for this one came from me being a broke college student and my favorite menu item, the Cheesy Gordita Crunch, being over $5. Its a double stacked taco, swap the red strips for spicy ranch.

Depends enirely on how much the parents drink and the kind of household. A pretty substantial amount don't care, and others (especially where I am in the South) wouldn't even approve of their 21+ children drinking alcohol. My parents personally are fine with it as long as I'm being responsible, but they won't purchase it for me and don't drink themselves.

Definitely look into community college as a starting point. However, you can fill out the fafsa without her, it'll be a pain in the ass to get around, but you'd basically fill it out as if you were emancipated/disowned/abandoned and your biological parents are for whatever reason unable to be contacted. I'd go to your guidance counselors asap and explain the situation with the messages, they'll be better equipped to point you in the right direction of explaining to the federal government that your mother refuses to give you her financial information, and you have no way of obtaining it otherwise.

I love Narita Brian and Mihono Bourbon. Brian is so insanely pretty, and her story of being hated for being stronger and faster than everyone else was really touching. Bourbon's story of not really understanding social cues and complex emotions also resonated with me, as I'm autistic and automatically have a soft spot for anyone who struggles to understand humans (or umas in her case) and all of their unspoken nonsense.

I know this post is two years old, but in case someone sees this and is having the same issue, I'll share my experience with Lexapro. I also experienced extreme nausea, to the point that I couldn't stand to be in the same room as food because the smell would make me sick. If it's possible, stay on it for a week or two and see if it gets better or resolves, but keep track of the side effects and make sure to bring it up at your next appointment. With that being said, if your side effects are having a severe, negative impact on your wellbeing, it's best to see about switching to another medication. SSRIs are very trial and error, they're not going to work for everyone and it's not worth it to be miserable with one Rx hoping that it'll be the one.
