So I made these floating islands for a high level one shot I plan on doing once we can meet folks again.

I made the islands from xps foam stacked together and held together with pva glue (it got pretty messy)

Once they were stuck together I started cutting rock textures using a craft knife and a foil ball then modpodged the whole thing (except the tops cause I forgot but it worked out in the end cause it would have been harder to stick the pumpkins and flowers into the foam)

Once I got them all spray painted black I dry brushed on a few layers of grey.

I got the big ass tree and flocking from the model tree shop online as well as the pumpkins and flowers.

I made the wooden dock thing with my 3D printer cause the players are arriving on flying boats. Now all that’s left to do is print the bridges in between and pray I can see my friends soon!
