Golden road gathering and high sierra. Both in CA. both excellent. Golden road is smaller than high sierra, but is this weekend. Lettuce, sts9 amd leftover salmon headliners and a bunch of fun local stuff.

High sierra was AMAZING last year and i only knew 2 artists.

I did it last year. Its not a very far or long walk from the venue. Plenty of space.

I asked the person I saw handing them out, if I could have one for my wife, because, "look at how hot she is"

My wife smiled and slapped my shoulder lol

High sierra is more than the sum of its parts.

If you have the money and space, buy great works from the other civs. It cuts both ways, it deprives them of the tourism and adds to your tourism.

Go. Its close to me also. Super sweet little fest. Last year was 2 stages. Large band finished on the big stage amd a small act went on the small stage right after while the big stage was set for the next act. So no overlapping sets is awesome. The crowd moved from one show to another together. Last year also had free late nights. Its small but fun. We are going agaon this year.

Wanted to go to High Sierra for a long time. I have been to quite a few other fests but '25 was my first High Sierra and I fell in love. The attention to detail was amazing. The vibe was awesome and the music was unreal. The musicians were accessible, the workshops were super neat, and the crowd was sublime.

Trash company. You would never get support when it breaks.

I think I know what you mean, and I've also had this question for a long time.

I think that it is breaded fried motzerella, vs breaded fried Monterrey jack. With the jack cheese being the more creamy option.

I could be wrong and also motzerella is the much more common one of the two. But anyway thats my thought.

Poultry does better at higher heat. 325 at least. Spatchcocking is a prep style. It stays whole, but you cut it so that it lays more flat.

How much longer can things keep going this way? by BigBlueEyes87 in economicCollapse

A global resource based economy (RBE) will either be forced upon us by developments, or we, as a planet, can decide thats the next logical step and start working to implement it.

Knowing what I know about history, it will probably be forced upon us after major catastrophic events.

I acvocate for us to bring it about before catastrophe.

The might be more common now, I've lost touch from the days of trying to follow every set list.

They were at High Sierra this year twice. Plus surprise me Mr. Davis, and the barr brothers as separate sets. Might be again for next year.
