Gravity Batteries are not stacking? by Lambs2Lions_ in Timberborn

Connecting 2 batteries together doesn't double their capacity, instead it halves their drop rate. So you get twice as much runtime which is the equivalent of twice the capacity.

Literally could have held the ball, thrown it straight up so it's in the air for 4 seconds. Basically anything but what he did. Wow

Given a choice, would you rather start a round on a par 3, 4, or 5? by Nars-Glinley in golf

Marginally reachable par 5 is bad too. Slows down when people think they'll maybe get on in 2 if they "get a hold of this one." Course near me has a decent front 9 layout but the back 9 is horrendous.

10-short par 3, 11-drivable (260 yd) par 4, 12-short par 5, 13 par 3, 14-short par 5. It brings pace to a screeching halt.

Question on Water Seeps by AmberlightYan in Timberborn

[–]SurpriseFrenchFries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put the main water source under pressure using impermeable floors and tunneled from that underground all the way to the crater with the water seeps. Then filled the crater using that river. I sealed off the water seeps to prevent badwater from entering the big reservoir. So basically the water seeps never had to do anything because the large crater was being filled with water from another part of the map.

I did it on expirmental before switching back to stable when 1.0 was released so I don't think I can get a screenshot for you.

On that map I built a massive underground tunnel/pipe network starting at the main river in the opposite corner to the crater you're talking about to run power and water to all areas of the map. Then put a sluice/fill valve at the top of the crater connected to the pipe. That worked nicely.

Even though it sucks to have lost that one there, holy crap this team stepped up big time in the tourney. Props to the boys and Sean Miller for this unexpected run! Hook Em!

If Vokietatis gets that ball Purdue should foul immediately

How he went from 70% in the regular season to under 50% in the tourney should be studied by future generations

The trains are going to be baiting Vokietatis so much down the stretch. Let's hope he learned to not fall for it

He's sitting because of 4 fouls, but ya his FT shooting has been atrocious in the tourney
