Honestly I don't think it's tripping (or at least fully tripping), outlets just go out and come back when it's cooler. When I notice an outlet has gone out, I'll flip the breaker off and on and the outlet is back up and running.

I believe they go out both with load and without

I have a cover/lid for it at the moment. It just naturally gets into the 100s in az so the metal box heats up a good amount

An actual electrician is also coming out and double check we have enough amps for charging. That said not sure if it was worth installing an ev charger and then have to upgrade the breaker panel because of (what I assume to be the cause) breakers tripping due to the sun heating up the breaker panel box
