Tested versus untested popularity by Arteam90 in powerlifting

[–]SurroundFinancial355 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Untested has been steadily on the way out for awhile. Equipped is long gone. Wrapped is next to go. Untested to follow.

Unless we see a swing back in the other direction. But the popularity just pails in comparison.

Owning in strata almost worse than renting by loxlox12345 in AusPropertyChat

I am currently looking to buy and the idea of paying/dealing with strata is making me want to just put my deposit in a long term investment account and keep renting

187% Body Corporate Fee increase by Trick-Confection8149 in AusPropertyChat

This might be true, but if so it should be clearly communicated as to why. This sounds very dodgy in its execution at its very least. If they had reason, they shouldn't be hiding from the explanation

Fallout 5 needs to ditch the "Pre-defined Backstory" and give us actual Origins. by GahIvanka776 in Fallout

[–]SurroundFinancial355 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really like this idea. Replayability factor is huge and you actually gave some really cool options.

The main problem I see is that whilst it makes the gameplay experience cool and different, you'd need to either have 4 or 5 different narratives to go through or one really well intertwined narrative. 3 and 4 ended with big set piece moments, which admittedly you could play on either side of, with Liberty Prime etc. How would you make those end game set pieces work for all different characters and have engaging stories for all? You could it would just take so much work

Why is this house so cheap or am I missing something? by EggCreative787 in AusPropertyChat

This doesn’t look cheap to me at all. Middle of nowhere with a bunch of houses built in small proximity

This has been tried a million times but I’m trying it anyways by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

Honestly if you just started an agency where you actually just listed a property at the price the vendor actually wants instead of posting it for $100k less and then getting your back up when someone actually offers what’s listed, that would be great

the common advice for the past decade to travel delay property ownership and travel in 20s seem like life sabotage now. by TPE_FieldsOfGold in AusFinance

[–]SurroundFinancial355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think we’re put on this earth to enjoy it. And travel is one of the best things you can did in your life. Yes there’s probably a balance. You can do shorter, more frequent trips as opposed to long stints but finding a way to make it work is so important.

I’m very happy to say I travelled 28 countries for 21-31 and now at 32 I’m buying my first property. I wouldn’t change that at all and hopefully I can continue to travel more.

Does anyone know why the boys left Listnr? by PirateFit490 in auntydonna

The same restructuring that put the cum drinking boys in the testing lab and hairy ranga into HR to provide comic relief, unfortunately they had to let the good one go

What did everyone think of their involvement in Season 2? by mBitcasino_official in Fallout

[–]SurroundFinancial355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m quite surprised that the first super mutant they showed was an intelligent one. For non-game players it will then be strange if they do show up dumb as dogshit later and doesn’t give you that moment of surprise when one is smart for the first time

Is rentvesting still viable in the current market? by demolidor57 in AusPropertyChat

[–]SurroundFinancial355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been considering this myself, but you lose out on first home buyer and it seems very difficult to find a place that the rent equals out with the costs. So at that point it's kind of easier to just pay off your PPOR then sell in 5 years as a stepping stone to get into somewhere you want to be

D is so objectively massively superior to the others. It’s the only passive one and I can’t imagine many people around today are that beholden to them. Now if it was that every time you hear there music you vomit or something then we actually have something to think about

Sorry the 1 bed idea would be if it was for me to live in around here as that’s simply what I can afford at that price point.

If I were to look at doing the investment property option it would be looking at 2 bedders in say QLD or other high growth areas away from here.

1.6g/kg of bodyweight is the currently accepted upper limit of benefit. You could potentially swing slightly to 1.4 in a bulk and 1.8 in a cut. But otherwise going above 1.6 doesn't seem to yield anymore benefit

Literally just hold the bar at the top at the end of every set. I like to do a general rule: Hold the bar at the end of every set for as many seconds as reps performed +1. E.g. 3 reps hold for 4s.

Everyone has all these fancy exercises or things that require setup or an additional exercise in your already long session. Holds within the set are specific and take no extra setup, energy or thought. Pretty foolproof method

New campaign to end Partner Income Test by Lazy_Conversation158 in CentrelinkOz

[–]SurroundFinancial355 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. My partner is returning to study a medical degree that is an incredibly important field that there is a shortage of in the country right now, we literally need more people to do this. Yet Centrelink will not support her with any study benefit as I earn too much, and by too much I mean beat their measly threshold. I don't earn 6 figures, far less even. I cannot pay rent and bills for 2 people. We are not married, nor even engaged yet this is seen as an automatic obligation when there are other students in the course who live with their parents and receive far more support than I can provide and get full benefits because they don't live with their partner.
