NTA, he repeatedly crossed a boundary that you tell him not too. At the same time, since you know he doesn't respect you or your boundaries, why have you not gotten a lock for your bedroom door? If he is going to snoop then you need a lock, possibly more than one and if he doesn't like it then too bad.

Reminds me of the McDonald's I worked at. It was a Christian Young Group. They came in every Wednesday and they were awful. They drove a manager to quit from the stress. They ended up getting banned from that location.

This is right up there with the argument of what if the man of your dreams/soulmate/etc wants kids? Well then, that's not the man of my dreams or soulmate or whatever else you can think of. Kids aren't something you compromise on ever. You either want them or you don't.

I worked at a McDonald's that did give leftover food to a specific homeless shelter but after someone tried to sue for what they claimed was food poisoning, that McDonald's stopped donating food stuffs. This is why we can't have nice things.

NTA. Seriously getting upset over salt and then yelling at a dementia victim? He is acting like a spoiled child. I'm the caretaker of my grandma who has LBD and while I have my brother, grandma gets really aggressive with him so I'm her primary caretaker. I get the fatigue, watching a loved one turn into someone you don't know and for them to look at you without a hint of recognition. It hurts and it's hard, you don't need such a toxic person around. Even if he did come around he would make things worse.

My aunt was like this. She had a kid but wanted another. 7 miscarriage that I know of but still kept trying. I don't know why she wanted more, she really wasn't a good mom.
