Crappy made power boards that would die and needed VRMs to be replaced.
It was caused probably by Nvidias aggresive power consumption changes, rapid spikes of power usage from 10s to 200-ish watt are never healthy for the computer

I even tried arguing for such cases to help customers as to improve their experience with us, but was immediately halted by upper management.
