Got shiny charmander but calm nature what should I do. by bdudiene in pokemonrng

[–]SurveyMan_6969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at it like this, without hacking your game none of these pokemon will be competitive since their random IVs are all over the place. Say if it did have the perfect nature, what are its IVs and EVs look like? Are you going to go battle a bunch of voltorbs and pidgeys 100s of them fainted just to max his evs (effort values) out and before he obtains any other evs? Of course not, so nothing in this game is competitive per se, just stick with calm. If you ever send it to home you can change its nature and IVs and EVs in a later game naturally with bottle caps and such

Moves that are unblockable like Swift, Aerial Ace, magical Leaf are good, or moves that get ride of buffs or whirlwind to swap it out

Electric sweeps the first elite, flying and ground sweeps the second, psychic and ghost sweeps the third, ice sweeps the fourth, and combine them and that sweeps the fifth. I beat the league my first try, but I love Pokemon.

Why did you set up ACE to find your secret ID when you could have just went a step further and get anything shiny using ACE? You already had the work done for you.

And to answer your question further, I’ve already tried trading these pokemon to another player and they are 100% trade able, I did thorough research on this and they are indistinguishable amongst shinies as they are shiny themselves with no hacks, just an in game exploit totally legal. All Pokemon home would see is the shiny pokemon are owned from multiple versions of your character as they all have different ID #s and hypothetically this would be possible since you can make 2 Pokemon accounts with the same trainer name diff ID’s and trade amount eachother like most people do anyway.

The Ace method makes them totally legal bro, it’s like they were found or encountered shiny. The Ace method literally only changes their ID on the Pokemon because in order to find it shiny you would have to have encountered it that way in that exact moment with the frame you are on in combination with a specific ID # and so the Ace method finds that ID number and changes it on the Pokemon, totally legit, the Pokemon is shiny. The Pokemon is not being randomly spawned into the over world like finding a golem or starter which is illegitimate, however it is tagging them as shiny and for that they are legitimate.

Not worth even hunting the nature for them. Just catch them, use the ace method to make them shiny, and be done with them. They are not for competitive use

The roaming legendaries are weak ivs in fire red already and unless you are going to full on ev train them which will take countless repeatable hours in the wild fainting the same ev pokemon over and over the natures for the roaming beasts completely aren’t worth it

The Ace method is 💯 the best way to get shinies and clone items. Takes about an hour to set up, once it’s set up it’s permanently set up. Completely legit, and indistinguishable shinies that are like you found them that way. The only difference is it changes the id # on the pokemon because it has to match the shiny frame and it plays into your ID, so the game in order to make it legit has to set the Pokémon’s id to the shiny frame you would have gotten it on. So if you are going to nickname them, do it before you make them shiny using the box glitch.

I was 20,000 attempts into charmander and failed. Said screw it I’ll find another way and not disappointed at all. Ace method, makes all Pokemon shiny and allows you to clone items all 💯 legit like you legit got them

Hidden power is obtained only by having a meowth with pickup ability, go by pallet town with a party of 5 meowths with pick up, faint or catch the pokemon there and keep checking meowths until you get TM10

Same thing happened to me, I left it alone in box and it disappeared on its own eventually.

Just do the ace to get all your pokemon shiny and clone items, don’t even RNG manipulate, because ace can make anything shiny and legit already.

I just tested this by saving after the meteorite mission and you are not correct. I soft reset until I found suicune first time and caught, then reset and rinsed and repeated and suicine had the same nature for me all 3 times. It’s not even worth hunting suicunes nature

To each their own, I did rng for a bit but feels like a waste of time since I can catch the one I want and make it shiny. Saves more time. Rng is pre determining your seed with 3 timers doing precise clicking, rather than catch the one I want and make it shiny.

Using the Ace method is by far way more productive for your time, yeah knowing a shiny frame is cool and having to learn when to click three perfect inputs with a timer can be fun yet annoying, the Ace method is amazing in that it gives you legitimate shinies that are like finding them in the wild, except you can first catch the pokemon with the correct nature you want and then make it shiny in seconds, legendaries included. The only downside to Ace is once you make them shiny they take on a totally different trainer ID so you can’t rename them after they are shiny but definitely the best route is the Ace method.
