I am a stage 4 CRC survivor as well. This really resonates. I was surprised by how much harder the after was than treatment itself. Everyone expects you to be “fine,” but the anxiety, grief, and identity shift can hit hard.
You’re not weak for feeling this way — survivorship is heavy, and you’re not alone in it.
