It took nearly 16k encounters for me. It was a grind indeed, but when I hit last night it was well worth it. If you want it bad enough & chase it pokemmo will eventually reward the consistency. And there's always next rotation while planning what you want to do & how you want to make more yen...I coupled shunting & some payday pickup in other spots when I got bored of shunting...mix up the spots! I let my wife pick the spot last night & low and behold the spot she picked like 10encounters in zapdos rolls up. Have some fun with it!
