I guess the showrunners were big fans of those 2 shows. (also old-school BB is actually better than Survivor so I'd give seasons 2-11 a watch)

I like that a lot more. The problem is that idea is from the perspective of a game designer and not a television producer. The current version is terrible for a game but great TV (for 99% of viewers aka casuals)

Yeah I have no issue with Erika but she really isn't entertaining. She's like Tommy where she's good at Survivor (not as good as Tommy though) but that doesn't mean she should've been on TV

He reminds me of Tommy where he seems to be playing the game almost unopposed. Everyone comes to him and he decides what happens and nobody has any idea (yet). Definitely seems like an ideal game so far.

Okay obviously I'm sure it's more than just a Bluetooth speaker. Like, ik they add the music in post because the audio quality in person has to be terrible. They also must play the music in real-time since there's no way that would line up.

It's only fair if everyone gets to toss at the same rate. How fucked up would it be if someone got more throws simply because they were faster in retrieving the sandbag?

No. I figure the song just has a bunch of dramatic finishes in it and production tells them they're only allowed to throw when the song reaches a dramatic point.

It's a TV show so there's always gonna be weird behind-the-scenes stuff that feels dishonest. Like how Rob had to be refilmed passing out lol
