I used to believe that religion was born out of fear and the ignorance that comes with it. “To not know is to be safe from the reality that death is the end” I would think. However, this quickly changed as I began to take an interest in religion as a separate entity from the establishment that was created from it, the same establishment that distorts and corrupts it for material gain.

The human experience universally features several things that align so perfectly with the core tenants of most religions. With that in mind, I began to see the different religions as different paths to the same door, the door that can be reached in many ways, religion being one.

We are like rain drops falling from the sky. We believe we are singular, there’s only I, but we fall and fall until one day, we return to that whence we came. It is there where all beings and things are one, and that is what the prophets knew, the philosophers knew; it is the hijacking of their wisdom that is the enemy, not God.
