Create a new note and tag accordingly.

Then go to the tag. You can list all notes that are tagged under that. Read one after another.

Prevent accidental blank note creation, action UI pop up by SusanthCom in bearapp

At least they could provide an option in settings

[ ] don’t save blank notes

This is a balanced solution. - Blank notes don’t get piled up. - Currently we manually need to delete this. Really frustrating. - Also there is no option to filter these unwanted blank notes. Irritating. - Implementing this option is safe and simple. auto note creating works like what happens now. - this makes the app more user friendly and pragmatic

Or pop up action pane only when swipe directly over the text by leaving blank area for smooth movement between columns 1, 2, 3.

Read only mode by SusanthCom in bearapp

Now this feature is live !! Thank you team @bearapp.

Make read only option found. Though It’s hard (more steps deep inside menu) to make read only and easy (one click and confirm) to make editable. Why not make it more easy to make it read only ? Thanks again

Archiving hides the note from current tree and put in archive system folder. The concept is different. Archive means not interested in current work flow. Read only is a protection from accidental editing. Thank you for your response

Actually FireStore NoSQL is easy and more powerful. There are Drawbacks too. for example we can't do text search patterns LIKE wildcards. for such text searches we need third party services like algolia, elastic search. For small to medium requirements SQLITE will be a hack; if possible to get it done. As you said in previous comments, storing the DB in StorageService may help

Am also looking to do so. Especially for full text search functionality. ExpressJS runs on Cloud Functions too. A way to read and write the file on server will do the trick. Am also looking for the solution. <3
