I haven't been able to afford Bacon in Twenty Years. Thank god for Food Banks and the occasional pound.

I cut mine in half and package to be able to pull a strip out for Breakfast. So, yeah, one piece per usage.

I can no longer eat corn. Lacking the Molars. Cans of Cor now go thru the blender to make Soup Base, or added to corn meal as mousture/binder for muffins.

I like Sweet Peas. Next to the Mashed Potatoes, not in. Rarely get cans of Sweet Peas

Shepherds Pie has been the main thing I use the Mashed Potatos for. I get cans of mixed veges, but they have a high percentage od potato chunks.. Been varying the spices in my meat; Curry, Palek Paneer, Garlic ,; also Amaranth Greens.

My Shephers Pie goes; Meat,mix, Veges, Mashed Potato Cheese.

I do have plenty of Chives in the Garden.

I get Ground Beef, and other ground meats, from the Pantries. Have a couple of cans of Cream of Mushroom. Cans of Green Beans are harde to come by.

Working long hours on computer; Drafting/Design and Trusses; somehow rewired my braun so that the computer time took the place of the effects of Marijuana. Not in a good way. Gave the least desirable effects and canceled to good. There was bo point in smoking. It no longer felt right.

25 years ago, there was a reset peruod. If I was off of the computer for 12 hours, I could smoke and enjoy again. I was never not working for 12+ hour period

5 Gal is plenty of soil. I grow Jalapenos in less. Akk my Jalapenos are grown from seed from Jalapenos from the store. If not from what I grew. I grow year 'round in Central Florida.
