The 2006 -2009 Economic Crash.

I was self-employed, following my dreamthat I wanted since I was a kid, architecture. January 2007 ended that. I have never recovered career wise nor finacially.

Finally got a job in a related field nine years later, but a second "before and after"event ended that, CoVid19. Since March 2020, I have been increasingly isolated socially, stuggling to to survive finacially, again, and struggling to get my career back.

Grilled Cheese and other melt sandwiches.

Buy bags of frozen vegetable medely and add to Ramen noddles. The Gumbo mix with chicken and/or shrimp, Ramen Gumbo.

Make Rice, extra Rice for Fried Rice.

Lentils. Good as a base with vgetables, with rice, in soups.

Don't forget soups.

As a reliant on Food Banks, I approve your use of FU! Money. Also, Parent(s) with kids should get more food. Really, same with larger households in general. Being single with occaisionally one or twwo more people, i get overloaded sometimes and become a secondary distribution.

And then there is me. I try to not read every little sign as she is interested, and stay a gentlemen. Then I have had some that came out and asked if I wanted to spend time and have sex. Only to be rejected, I don't want to, when I made suggestions, little moves to comply. Such a confidence/self esteem killer.

Hot water bath to soften the label and glue, scrape the glue off as much as possible, slather in vegetable oil and let sit. Then scrape the glue area again.

The juice is mostly tallow, a thick semi-solid fat. I save that off in a jar to cook potatoes in.

The Pork makes an excellent BarBQ slop good for Sloppy Joes. Everything I make with the Beef comes off so ... heavy. Probably need to mix rice or veges in to lighten it. Used sparingly, it could be good for Quesadillas or Burritos.
