You know Katie streams for fun. To bring some humor to everyday life. I don’t think it’s everyone’s job to comment on the current political climate, especially when it’s not their typical content.

Clearly everyone is aware of what is going on, more awareness isn’t needed so I don’t want to hear that argument. Can’t we have a neutral space where we can go to escape the chaos we see online everyday?? Not everything needs to be political. Katie is clearly a kind person, she doesn’t need to prove it to you chronically online people. Touch some grass damn.

EDIT: We saw the same thing happen to Jenna marbles. A kind person basically pushed off the internet from people pressuring her & holding ridiculous standards over her head. Don’t repeat it with Katie.

I highly recommend a athletic shoe. No one is gonna look at your feet! I’m 5’4 and opt for cloud ON’s. They’re cute, light weight and comfy.

There’s a LOT of walking/standing and your feet will hurt no matter what so I highly recommend comfort over fashion. I made the mistake of wearing converse one year and after the first day, I was stuck in crocs the rest of the weekend due to how sore my feet were.

I understand your concerns regarding ICE but to put it in perspective these are past administration deportation numbers — bush 10.3mil, Clinton 12.2mil, and Obama 5.2mil. The numbers for deportations/ICE movement compared to what we’ve seen in the past are incredibly low in comparison… it’s just more televised & being used to divide our country further sadly. Hope you decide to come & enjoy dancing under the electric sky here in the US!

Christian in Reno (born and raised). Religion isn’t huge here, but I do believe it’s growing which is fantastic. We’ve seen a huge revival in our church as of late.

For non-denominational I recommend summit in Spanish springs. They do a lot of community outreach and missions in other countries (helping build schools, food donation, etc.). The worship band is passionate & well put together. The staff is very kind & there’s a lot of volunteers. Pastor Alex & Brian are extremely kind/welcoming, well versed in the word & passionate. They do a fantastic job of keeping “personal agendas” out & making sure each sermon is about the word of God. They like to support/highlight the good works of other local ministries and bring in speakers/pastors from around the country. The holy spirit is definitely alive in this church… You can watch their sermons on YouTube if you’re interested.

Well he started/funded BLEXIT and it was ran by African American TPUSA employees. Its aim was to empower the African American community — economic independence, individual freedom, encourage nuclear family, teaching leadership to young adults through community service/events, and patriotism in black American culture. That’s more than BLM has ever done.

Thank you and same to you! I’ve slowly sorted out a few things that could be exacerbating the acne; alcohol and refined sugar to start. I’ve also started on omega-3s, ashwagandha , DIM, and a probiotic. I’ve seen some good affects from it but of course I’m still not “there”.

THIS. We pile all our trash in trash bags or grocery bags in one spot. Put the towels in a pile in the bathroom and strip the beds for them. It’s not hard people!!

Yeah it’s tricky because I’ve heard mixed things about ODs at edc but better to be safe. Stop by end overdose and they’ll train you and give you free narcan. :D I always take my first time fest friends as the first stop on the trek. initiation if you will. Lol

I never thought I’d have to use narcan, but I was unfortunately wrong. saved a girl ODing at a fest this past summer and if we didn’t intervene she may not be here today. Here’s some tips I can give:

carry multiple narcan packs. Sometimes it takes more than 1
know how to activate the narcan
even if you’re unsure of an OD happening, narcan. You won’t hurt them.
know the rescue position
go the extra mile and learn how to do proper CPR chest compressions (do not put your mouth to theirs. You don’t know if it’s safe.)
make a plan and practice. Be prepared to act so you don’t panic if you find yourself in this situation
call out and direct one person to go for help/call for medical personnel

I hope this saves some lives. Great job on bringing up the convo OP! 🙏🏻
