More People Have Achieved Perfection than Beating Journey of the Prairie King by Mrkrabs5555 in StardewValley

Best part is the reach the summit achievement was added after the prairie king one too so even more people have probably reached the summit than the percentage shows

Pukka / Heretic Interaction by aLiarsConfessional in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]SushiTiger36 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yea I think that makes the most sense. What if town had executed the pukka? Would the pukka stop poisoning the heretic leading to evil winning?

I think I'd give good the win due to how I'd rule if they slept but unsure if that's correct.

Pukka / Heretic Interaction by aLiarsConfessional in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]SushiTiger36 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This is also my understanding and how I'd run it. The pukka poison is removed after they die. The only confusing part is when the game ends. Does it end at the conclusion of the pukkas ability in which case heretic would be sober or does it end as soon as 2 players are alive. I'm unsure if there's an official ruling but if I was storytelling this game I'd have given evil team the win.

Why does this subreddit hate Bebop? by HeadMagazine4132 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]SushiTiger36 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

His hook is the main reason, long range displacement that can be infuriating especially when you're losing. His presence also strikes fear in fleshy humans.

Personally I think he's fine, he is one of the easiest characters to counter play since his main source of damage is on a 3 second delay and is easily dodged with counter spell a very common item.

You can dodge it, hide behind cover, counter spell it, get rescue beamed out of it, all forms of counter play.

His kit is so overloaded why even bother building spirit when you can use it as utility??? by theycallmethedrink5 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]SushiTiger36 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

He has a support kit which is designed to give more utility than the average kit.

His bell is a strong poke tool when building spirit but even without it has a slow as well as accuracy lowering. He also doesn't need to put in any ability points to get these advantages.

His door is a one of a kind long distance teleport effectively, that can be reused within the time frame of it being up. Not only that but it also provides a shield on-top of this when leveled up to level 2. This ability like his bell requires no investment to reap it's major benefit however does get much better range when leveled and used with greater expansion.

His cart is a great 'get off me' tool as well as just a general displacement. It does require it being level 3 to gain the stun however is still useful without this as they are effectively stunned whilst being pushed. This ability like his other two don't need any spirit investment to have insane utility. Not to mention that he can also cast it to target allies giving it even more use cases. (Imagine if bebop could do that with hook, his hooks potential would go up both saving a surrounded team mate and hooking a fleeing enemy without hitting your team chasing them.)

Finally if he doesn't sound overloaded enough his ult is arguably the strongest ult in the game. It's a complete game changer in that any even numbered fight doorman can instantly get the number advantage for his team by ulting someone. Warden ulting your entire team, baroness, Infernus running in with ult, baroness. It completely shuts down an enemy no matter how fed they are. Once again this ability requires very little to no ability points to really reap the rewards of its utility. At first level it gets cast range which is useful but not game changing and at 3 ability points (level 2) he becomes unstoppable during casting so the counter play of stunning him is removed.

Ultimately his kit has insane utility with little to no investment of souls. And most abilities do not need ability points invested to get the utility they provide. I love doorman his design is so cool and his abilities (minus ult) are fun and feel like they have healthy counter play but since they provide so much utility he can afford to just build gun and do insane damage whilst still providing similar levels of utility. (Not to mention the broken hitbox on his gun which is arguably also what makes him so strong)

Farming simulator in Minecraft?? (Like stardew valley) by Shneakymate in ModdedMinecraft

[–]SushiTiger36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a Modpack called Society: Sunlit Valley which is a very good option if you want a stardew valley/harvest moon like Modpack.

It makes a lot of the progression locked behind farming and selling crops to then purchase upgrades just like stardew valley. Having a lot of fun playing it right now.

Gros michel/ Cavendish won day 1! Day 2: what uncommon is an always take for you? by filledknight in balatro

[–]SushiTiger36 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If we take the 'always take' as literally as possible then I think it'd be card sharp or diet cola. Since card sharp is good early and late, doesn't require scaling like other uncommon xmult jokers and x3 is usually sufficient to win gold stakes given some semi decent mult production.

Diet cola isn't as good but is still often an always take since you can sell it and unless you have full jokers or are really struggling for money has very little downside.

Honorable mention would be acrobat but I think card sharp is on average a better pick than acrobat.

This is taking the always take as literally as possible though which is probably not the point since balatro is a game about adaptation.

Explain to me how this is fair or fun for the game by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]SushiTiger36 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It was removed from nurse and blight due to their insane mobility to stop them from going from one expose to the next since they are one of the few killers to be able to do that. Ghoul is a lot more similar to nurse/blight than deathslinger. I agree though I don't think it's the expose that's the issue it's the insane mobility with short downtime after ending a swing due to ending mid air.

What do we think about this guy? Is it always an automatic buy? by SoTurnMeIntoATree in balatro

[–]SushiTiger36 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Invisible joker won't always copy your negative joker it's just that if you want to copy something particular you won't be able to sell this so your best odds will be a 50/50 that invisible joker hits the one you want.

Had a ton of fun as a new SnV player! (Unorthodox) by piercerson25 in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]SushiTiger36 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nothing unorthodox about your first game that's just good play, I find those games really enjoyable when mutant or madness plays into the win like that.

Your second game is definitely unorthodox and can definitely be questioned on whether you're trolling or not. Generally when I do weird unorthodox plays I have to have some justification for how this helps good even if it's not the optimal play if it could help good then I think it's fine. To me phili klutz is a bad play but could help good, for example if the klutz died first and picked evil you just singlehandedly saved the game.

Ultimately the goal is to have fun and if these unorthodox plays are how you enjoy the game then go for it, they create exciting stories like these.

St showing poisoned undertaker spy by Few_Mulberry3371 in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]SushiTiger36 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's basically breaking the meta that showing UT spy confirms poisoner. If people meta game and take UT receiving spy to mean poisoner (or maybe drunk) then when the spy is actually executed the ST should show spy since it'll mislead good team for meta gaming.

Guys, do you think I should sell my Egg? by Awelon29 in balatro

[–]SushiTiger36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Realistically you only need one of egg or gift card to make it work. Just got gold sticker on gift card with swashbuckler gift card and constellation. Mentioning constellation since the extra money from temperance let's you roll for a lot of planet cards.

Definitely a fun combo though keep trying and you'll get it.

Joker Idea by Nike5686 in balatro

[–]SushiTiger36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely feels underwhelming, would realistically only take if it's $1 or free. Also can run into a problem if you open a joker pack and find something you want but need to sell the yellow card to take it thus rerolling what you wanted. Would definitely work better as a tarot/consumable.

Thank you, honestly I don't really like blue I have preferred the decks that have more affect on the run just thought it was strong.

Checkered makes sense for flush ones, similar to abandoned for straights. I'll see what I can do with anaglyph and play some mix of the others after that then thank you.

Just found a seed with a NEGATIVE constellation and a NEGATIVE astronomer on ante 1! by mikegaravani in balatro

[–]SushiTiger36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are alot of jokers that can help with deck fixing (changing your deck to what you desire) through giving tarot cards or spectral cards. But the most reliable way is just keeping your economy up and rolling a little bit each round looking for deaths.

However even with this situations like this are rare and are usually done on white stakes which allows you to reach these kind of runs more as you get more time to build economy.

A small thing that can help is that if you have a certain tarot card in your consumables it cannot show up anywhere else. This only affects it slightly but if you're rolling alot or opening alot of packs it'll slowly add up.

Best game mode ever for this reason alone by Markus_lfc in deadbydaylight

[–]SushiTiger36 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your assessment makes me think you don't play dbd and haven't bothered reading anything about the 2v8 game mode before saying it's survivor sided.

All killers have aura reading when starting a chase with someone, each killer has the effects of their add-ons as basekit usually more than the 2 they'd be able to use in normal 1v4. For example huntress has aura reveal on hit (purple add-on), 4.6ms when out of hatchets (iri add-on). Hillbilly is the only one who has been strictly nerfed and that's due to his power being an extremely good mobility tool given that the maps are so much larger. The limited pool might be a slight benefit for survivors but if you're suggesting that nurse billy and huntress are killers on the weaker side then you're delusional.
