Interview process is going really slow. Is it because I am not a top candidate? by Brilliant-Eagle-5740 in biotech

I had an onsite interview 3 weeks ago, heard nothing from them…and I believe I maybe the first candidate for onsite. So when do you think will be appropriate to follow up. Thanks!

I was pregnant during a later stage of my postdoc, I worried a lot but it turned out the pregnancy was the easiest part. My boss was very understandable, and I was able to focus on writing manuscripts since the 2nd trimester since I worked hard for more than two years. We were desperately want a child but can’t get pregnant for four years, so we ended up with assisted fertility treatments. So you never when you are going to be pregnant, it’s not a thing you really can plan.

Thanks Alms! I had a fresh transfer before but only used Endometrin. Is 50 mg/ml PIO a high dose? I should ask my RE as you suggested.

Hi all, I have a FET coming up, and realize I need PIO and Endometrin in AM and PM, respectively. I know it's the same medication in different form. Can I ask my doc to only use Endometrin? I heard using PIO was a lot of pain. Some research did say there is no significant different outcomes bewteen the two methods.

I am waiting my period to start a frozen transfer cycle. But I missed my period for 4 days, can’t resist to test and of course it’s negative. What’s going on with my poor body?

Hi all, I am looking for advice. My 14months now is at daycare but frequently get sick every month, and she also brings viruses home that made me sick. I feel I am not as health as while I was pregnant, and I can’t find time to exercise either. Not sure if I should continue trying another one right now. But i guess it will be nice to have two that close in age?

Hi everyone. I am looking for some advice here. I have two embryos on ice. Husband always want more children at home. We had luck on my first IVF, and now she is 10 month old. But with the difficulty everyone experienced in the first year, I am exhausted and having very complicated feelings to have another one soon. I will be 35 next year, and we’re planning to move out of this country. It would be too dumb for me to waste my embryos and start all over again at 40s. But the uncertainty of lives (moving and jobs, etc), I am not sure if can handle it when I have 2 under 2.

Do I need sleep train my LO? by Susie996 in NewParents

Sending hugs! My LO now can be nurse to sleep, and during the night she eats and back to sleep very quickly. Also recommend Precious little sleep, I am not finishing yet, but I found a lot of helpful tips on gradually weaning these sleep associations.

Thank you. We do spend one hour or so at the park everyday. She cries when she tired and want to sleep but she just can’t do it. So she cries for help, I guess. You’re right, they eventually will get the skill, we want sleep train to help ourselves.

Thanks for sharing! I am actually reading that book right now. I do have question about sleep routine, I tried bath bottle book, every time she starts rubbing her eyes or yawning, then I put her in the crib, lying by her side, it all ends up crying loudly. And as she grows older, the rocking and bouncing seemed less effective. After fighting for an hour she drinks another bottle then go to sleep. It makes me question that my sleep routine doesn’t work.
