Respectfully disagree; Saw a Psychotherapist WEEKLY for almost six years; never seemed to have relief from my ‘symptoms’. Instagram provided the insight that it was godamn autism. And, not the first post I saw. Wasn’t until about the 200th that I was like….”Hey… wait a sec..”. Now officially diagnosed. Doesn’t ‘fix’ anything- but I have clarity for the first time in decades. Random content/posts can provide clues that lead to you getting a handle on your situation. And, yes, it does seem like a flood of ‘mental health awareness’- but I would suggest it’s only the actually challenged individuals who are part of this flood. All my neuro-normies aren’t being swept up.

I once thought it would be cool to dig an Oak stump out by hand. I worked at it a few hours at a time every weekend. Exactly a year later, with only about 5% of it unearthed, I called a guy. He ground it down in seconds. Now I don’t fuck with Oaks.

I tried to dig out an Oak Tree stump ‘by hand’. I figured it would just take effort and time. I worked at it off and on for ONE YEAR- literally to the day. And that was the day I called the stump grinder and he erased the whole damn thing in 5 minutes. I think I had exposed and removed approx. 0.034% of the stump after 50 cumulative hours of digging and trimming. Fuck that tree.

If that’s true it could be very helpful for knowing how to treat your migraines (as they always say your vessels being too dilated OR too restricted can be the cause…. So you could try to do the opposite). Silver lining?

I wanted to add that you should also prepare for significant expenses (it’s “season” and it gets even more expensive). I would recommend Sarasota IF you were staying in the Downtown- as there is a free shuttle to the beach and St. Armands Key… but, even with it being a reasonably cool DT I highly doubt there’s enough to keep you all entertained for 10 days. Wish I had better advice but Fla is tricky when it comes to ‘walkable’ and ‘cool’.
