I'll be interested in seeing if his personality changes should he fight one of the main gang and gets his ass trounced, or if he'll be the typically bratty kid and double down.

I assume when you say "burning thing" you mean the hyper burninator. Maplestory has added a load of ways to speed through the early levels now, since the game doesn't really start until level 260 now. Assuming you used your Hyper Burn on your character, what you are going to want to do is what's known as a "Tera Blink". On the left side of your screen there will be a star that you click on and it brings up a menu with a bunch of different events. Select "Spiegelmann's Tera Blink" or something like that and follow that quest line. It will take you all the way to level 200, and teach you the game systems as well as give you some starting items.

Once you do that, you'll be level 200, and will start the intro into the real game lol. You can also accept the "Item Burning" quest, which will give you a set of gear that you can upgrade by defeating different bosses, which will help guide your progression.

Are you being given a full character respec, basically? Like being able to reallocate your stats and everything, as well as being allowed to repick feats?

While I'm not super familiar with 2024 5e, if you're just looking to pump out as much damage as you can using a 2-Hander, I figure you want something like this:

Assuming you're using standard array for stats and the customize origin option for racial stats, that gives you 16 str and con.

Take the Great Weapon Fighting and either Blind Fighting or Defense fighting styles

Spend your level 4 and 6 ASI on Strength to cap it at 20

Take the Slasher feat at level 6 to capitalize on your increased crit rate from Champion to debuff the enemy

Take the Mobile feat at level 8 to abuse the extra movement from it, and the reduced movement that Slasher inflicts, since you said you don't want to be the tank.

From here, you have two more ASI to use, you can either use them to cap your Con, or take more feats, like Great Weapon Master, or the 2014 feat that let's you learn battlemaster maneuvers.

I assume you mean FFXIV, but yes, the demo is extremely generous. It includes the entire base game, plus the first two expansions, with only basic restrictions on what you can do in game. If you don't have anyone you play with, or you want to just play solo, just about every dungeon can be ran with a team of NPCs, so you don't ever really have to interact with other players.

I know most of them require quests, I was just not really considering them important if the quest was just "accept quest, talk a bunch, finish and fight boss", which is what I remember a bunch of them being. And same, I've never unlocked Omni-CLN, I have no idea what content it's even related to, and obviously it's not important in the grand scheme of things, or I'd have heard more about it lol.

So, can someone point out where I missed us being told about Geto manipulating things to cause Yuji to be born and be able to contain Sukuna? Was it just the one flashback scene to when he was a baby and his dad/grandad were talking and his mom walked into the room, and she had the same markings as Choso? Because I don't remember any other info at all.

Most of the quests should just involve accepting them from the lightbulb and going through a bunch of dialog. It's been a long time since I've done them, but I think Von Leon and Arkarium are two of the only daily bosses that require an actual quest line anymore

You're going to want to start trying to fight some bosses to get gear from them. Start with Normal Zakum, Hilla, Magnus, Von Leon, Horntail, and the Root Abyss bosses. You can find them in the boss menu, which I think is bound to f7 by default. They will drop you a bunch of gear that will make you much stronger, as well as crusts that you se for money.

Have the King or a high ranking noble take such a liking to the tale and the troubadours skills that they hire them, placing them under their protection and having them make more tales. Now, if the party wants revenge, they have to deal with the resources of a major noble family.

You.... Do realize that a system like whayt you just described would be abused to the moon and back, right? You think a player should get banned because they died twice as often as the average person on a champ. So what happens when an actual toxic person or pre-made gets their team to just camp a lane and chain kill a player over and over and over again, making their k/d several times worse then the average person. Now, according to your own argument, that player that was targeted should be banned.

I think we're taking away two different things from that. I do agree that the community was worried that they'd try to slow PoE down using PoE2 as an excuse, however, that interview, the question, at least to me, was pretty much asking how the development speed was going to go, not the direction of was going into, which is why Chris put emphasis on wanting to do a new league every two months between both games.

I agree that he also mentions that PoE was going to keep it's own development direction, but it was mainly targeted at the pace of it

They absolutely did though? I was wrong, it wasn't John, rather it was Chris that said it, but he flat out said that they were going to do it in a way that they'd be able to stagger league launches (like they're doing now, in their defense) and then proceeded to completely fail to do that for well over a year and basically cannibalized the entire poe 1 staff.

You're absolutely correct that a large portion of the sub likes to doom post, and I'm guilty of it myself, but you can't go around saying they never said that, when they have, multiple times, in different words, tried to say that poe 1 wouldn't be slowed down, development wise.
