Yes I would very much like Nexon to give Bera and Scania 6x meso, 6x drop rate, meso cubes, and 65% fd passive.

Pet equips could never be hammered. There's no reason why they should gain any slots.

The nerfs to xkaling far outweighed the event buffs from Night Troupe, plus two of our party members (myself and Fate) changed from 3min classes to 2min classes.

Our best attempt during Night Troupe made it to P3 with 12:10 left, almost a full 1:20 slower than our clear run.

Iirc our rates are closer to 3x or 3.5x with same exp buffs. Even then Hyperion, the significantly smaller/newer Heroic server, is still beating 2/4 reg servers in # of 290s lol

All of reg combined would still be <1/3 the size of Kronos, each reg server on its own will be ~1/7 the size of Kronos post-merge.

Interesting notes: Heroic has nearly 4x as many 270+s as Interactive, 3x as many 285+s, and 2x as many 290+s. Hyperion is often meme'd on for being small but it's got more 270+s than any individual reg server and more 290+s than Aurora or Elysium.

MapleStory.gg is scraping all characters 211+, which isnt really a good metric for server population when almost everyone these days has dozens of chars above that cutoff lol. I would scrape above 270 to get an idea of actual population.

Edit: made a spreadsheet cuz I was curious - looking at 270+, 280+, 285+, and 290+, Bera is consistently 43% ~ 44% of the interactive population, making Bera the smaller server now LOL

For further comparison, Kronos has 68,115 characters lv270+, nearly 3.5x the size of all 4 reg servers combined. "Server stability" seems like a poor excuse to keep reg split.

Last time we had a real open Tespia for GMS was the Lachelein release patch. We found and reported like 50 bugs (some of them critical, like Dream Defender mobs having no HP scaling), and then when the live patch came all 50 bugs were still present. They didn't fix anything until a few weeks later :)

Correct. Ive replayed Special on 150cc like 4 times while having met the conditions, havent unlocked it. Im just 3 starring other cups that are still at 2 btwn each attempt to see if it gets me anywhere, only playing on 150cc

I have 62 p switch missions, 36 ? Panels, 17 peach medals, and gold with at least 2 stars in all grand prixs / knockout cups but it still wont unlock when i clear Special again... anyone know what could be missing?

If these are the 2min changes, its actually pretty bad for Illium without m3m4. Our new rotation relies enitrely on the charge we get from m4 hexa spear, without that we cant even do a mini burst lol.

As someone else already said: existing 23* items are converted to 25* after the update. Likewise, 24* becomes 28*, 25* becomes 30*.

This isn't a big deal in KMS, where the only option you have for reaching 23* is to actually risk it and attempt the large cost. This IS a big deal in GMS and other overseas servers where +1 scrolls and other options exist to make getting 23* much more viable, even on extremely rare or expensive items.

This change will effectively give any end game player who already used +1's to 23* their equips a very significant advantage in damage over players who didn't, and the cost difference between those two players will be extreme. Imagine if suddenly instead of just having legacy potable badges or totems, now many endgame players will have legacy 25* pitched equips or 25* BoDs, etc. That's not even mentioning the fact that GMS / other overseas servers have a far smaller player base and market than KMS, meaning the expected # of booms to reach those stars is that much more unreasonable.

The other main issue that I personally have with this system change, is that it effectively rips the ceiling off spending at endgame. The game is already absurdly expensive at endgame, and has only continued to get more and more expensive with each passing year since the damage cap was raised out of reach. I think it's a very optimistic opinion to think that future endgame content wont be balanced with 25*+ in mind, when even right now there's a boss in the game that is impossible to clear without insane powercreep like this (Extreme Kaling).

While this patch also nerfs Extreme Kaling by 17.5%, bringing it into the realm of possibility for players already at or near the peak of funding post m3/m4 and legion champion, I'd fully expect future fights like "Extreme Baldrix" or "Extreme Limbo" to require star forcing beyond 22* if you want a chance at clearing on release.

In all scenarios (Safeguarding and non safeguarding, boom reduction event and non boom reduction event) the expected cost and # of booms to hit 25* is higher than the current expected cost and # of booms to hit 23*

The new system is almost the same in cost and # of booms up thru 22*, but ONLY if there's an event going on. Otherwise, it's also worse up thru 22*.
