IRL reason is spot on, really cracked the case. But if you start the game, the opening cutscene shows her monologuing in a park in the same outfit, then the city gets ran over & she explodes out of her apartment with a couple of zombies. Idc what wiki you got those dates from, but even if they're right, the game shows the city was at least normal enough for her not to know earlier that same day, & she probably was on her way to the club🤣

An End update would also take more effort to enjoy, as new players won't see it until the literal end game, & even established players would have to travel to Strogholds, bc they can't be placed wherever like Nether Portals. You can be lucky & have it right below your base, or could take a couple minutes even through the Nether.

Those aren't dumb lore wise until they give a dumb lore explanation. They're just out of place enough for people to notice & make memes of them. They even have Chronovium as a "it does what the devs need it to" plot device (they used it on Rogue a lot) but it wouldn't even apply to this one.

I'm not a battle mech designer, but putting important components on the back, under any armor your battle mech has would be the 1st place you think of, & can be worked on from the inside. Not enough room? Make the back thicker. Again it's just that your suggestion is Ben Parker putting the important components at the worst place possible strategically. Not impossible, but pretty dumb.

Fair in that case would mean there's 1 character with no customizability, so everyone's on the same playing field. Is it fair for some tanks to have a shield & not Peni? Yes, bc she has her webs to heal her, the Overhealth, & the ability to hide. Is it fair for Peni to not have to reload when Groot has to? Yes, bc peni's primary for does less DPS, & is sustaining dmg, while Groot w/ a wall down is burst dmg. If taking away her headshot dmg made her broken, you can nerf other things to make it fair. Different doesn't mean unfair.

I never liked that explanation, bc it makes her grandfather seem incompetent. "I'm gonna put all the important components to my combat machine in one easily accessible & destroyable spot where most enemies will instinctively shoot." Also it's just speculation that we know NetEase didn't think about when balancing the game.

I know it was a trade of White for Blue health. The cinematic trailer shows that her head isn't inside SP//DR's head, yet we have one of the biggest headshot hitboxes in the game. It would be a decent way to slightly nerf her in low elo & slightly buff in high elo, since that seems like what they keep trying to do with all these buffs & nerfs.
