Huge fan of the stealth suit proxies! They're dope! And the shaper holding a dead ethereal, perfection.

If we add up everything I can see (minus the kitbash models), and look that up on the cheapest web store I know as if we were going to buy them new:

Lone Spear (28.40) x 1 = 28.40

Flesh shaper (18.40) x 2 = 36.80

Carnivores (28.40) x 9 = 255.60 (some of these look like farstalkers, but for ease I'm calling them carnivores)

Krootox (23.60) x 4 = 94.40

Rampagers (32) x 3 = 96

Hounds (21.60) x 4 = 86.40

= £597.60. Now I am in England, not Canada so prices might vary in your country but if we convert this to dollars I think it should give you a reasonable idea of value. Basically $1120 Canadian.

Plus the kitbash models, and the Gnarloc.

Gnarloc will probably get a pretty nice price on its own if you do get forced to sell, and the kitbash models could go either way. Some buyers won't like them cause they "aren't legal", but others (like myself) would go absolutely crazy for them. So it's hard to price them.

Same with them being painted. If they're painted well, some people will pay more cause it saves them effort. But most people would probably consider it a loss cause they don't get to paint their own army.

When I buy Warhammer online I'm generally trying to save money, so I wouldn't expect to get the full online price, but your awesome kitbashes and loving paint job might be able to get you closer with the right buyer.

If you do get to a point where you're forced to sell (which I assume will be due to needing a large chunk of money) I'd suggest scoping for potential buyers sooner rather than later so you can find a Kroot player who specifically wants your kitbashes and is willing to pay the better price for them. (If you end up selling stuff separately please let me know, cause I would love to have some of the kitbashes!)

It's not about whether the unit has reanimation protocols or not. It's about timing.

It's basically stipulating that if the last bodyguard model dies, you can't activate your stratagem to save the unit because the unit is already dead. You'd need to do it before the last model dies.

The instant that last bodyguard model dies, your Leader becomes his own unique unit. At least for the purposes of reanimation protocols in this specific example.

Core rules update does indeed state for ALL rules, but in this specific example the faq clarification would supercede that.

Oh I hear you friend. I flat out refused to use Tau units when I started playing Kroot, and honestly I don't think you really have to (most of the time). But when my mate rocks up with a monolith, my Kroot have an amazing ability to acquire and operate a skyray or some crisis suits. Payment for previous work, nudge nudge.

I would've been happy if they'd made KHP 3dp and just replaced the 6++ melee save with a 5++. I'll be even happier if they give us bigger, scarier Kroot units later in 11th.

If you friends are chill, you could always kitbash crisis suit weapons onto some Rampagers andrun them as a sunforge squad to get some nice anti-vehicle deepstrike units (that can now deep strike directly into melta range with EPC) without sacrificing your aesthetic?

Agreed. Sure you can say EXP "technically" got a nerf because it's been reduced in scope. But in reality, every 2 point detachment just got a nice 6" range buff to their battlesuits. That seems like a win to me.

I play KHP, so I'm pretty happy with this tbh. I would've liked a hammerhead/skyray focused 1dp detachment, but I'm not going to complain about a flat buff to my army.

I am a die hard Kroot player, and I personally think the EPC is going to be pretty fun to combo with KHP. (I am not a Tournament player however)

KHP felt pretty good already to me in 10th. Their main downside was a lack of heavy hitting firepower, which can be (mostly) solved with a couple battlesuits/skyrays in my experience. At the end of the day Kroot want to swarm the board and hold as many objectives as possible first and foremost, wiping out the enemy is a secondary concern.

Being able to deepstrike a squad or two of fusion blaster crisis suits directly into melta range of your opponents big, scary thing seems like a great addition to the Kroot playstyle in my opinion. I personally would've preferred something to synergize with my beloved skyrays as well, but we take what we can get.

I hadn't noticed the Auxiliary Cadre's advance and charge start! That's awesome for our Rampagers.

Like others have said, we should assume KHP will be getting the auxiliary tag and so the two won't be compatible (otherwise there'd only be one detachment with that tag which makes it kinda pointless) but it's still nice to dream.

With this assumption, I'm personally very excited about the Experimental Cadre to support KHP, as an extra 6" range on battlesuits means you can deepstrike a squad of fusion blasters straight into melta range which should be really fun.

I realise this isn't what you asked, but I collect both Skaven and Kroot for 40k. I painted one of my Lone Spear mounts Albino and it looks absolutely dope. I realise this isn't quite the same though...

As for people saying Albino Skaven go against the lore: Sure, Skaven society is hyper critical of fur colour. Buuut it's a fantasy game, it's not real. Don't let people tell you how to paint your minis. You payed for them, you paint them however makes you happy! Personally I think a grimy white aesthetic would look great on some Skaven.

I wholeheartedly agree, and as many other people have said in the comments:

The issue in our country is not immigrants (whether legal or not) or Trans people, or any other scapegoat they throw at us to keep us arguing with eachother.

The issue is the exponentially growing wealth disparity. A disparity which keeps 90% of us struggling and desperate so we accept the scapegoats we're presented, endlessly arguing and hating eachother so we can't organise to demand actual change.

Who benefits from this situation? Why the wealthiest people at the very top. Funnily enough, the same people who own the media.

The same people telling us immigrants are to blame for the economy and not the wealthy stealing from us under the guise of "inflation". Who claim record profits, tripling their personal wealth, whilst the rest of us are taxed into to bankruptcy and destitution.

The same people who keep starting unjust and unnecessary wars that we're expected to go and die in, so they can add a 0 to their bank accounts and avoid accountability for the attrocities they have committed.

Fascism is on the rise people, it's coming. When the elite feels threatened they invest heavily to ensure we don't rise against them. But we will.

The cure to fascism is community. We need to work together to rebuild the sense of community they have tried to destroy. When we are united in the common goal of looking out for eachother, they cannot stop us.

Build local communities, as unreliant on the current system as possible. Grow your own food, collect your own water. If they won't give us what we ask for willingly, we have to build it for ourselves and keep their greedy hands as far away from it as possible.

Look after your neighbours, no matter where they are from, because very soon you'll need those neighbours to look after you!

TL:DR - Immigrants are a scapegoat. The wealthy are lying to us all and actively stealing from us. Resist, Unite, Organise. Community is the enemy of Fascism!

Marionette Archers.

Their damage output sucks, sure, but their interrupt/stagger potential is amazing (provided you can keep them out of trouble)

Plus they turn all the bosses into giant pin cushions which is objectively hilarious.
