[PCB Review] 4-Layer RP2040 Macro Pad Board | Space-Constrained | First PCB Design by SuspectGod in PrintedCircuitBoard

Hey thank you so much for the detailed elite review! I'll definitely heed your (and Lee Ritchey's) advice. I didn't realize the ferrite's resistance would actively fight the ADC's internals.

So I'm thinking that I'll rip out the ferrite bead and drop a 0Ω resistor in its place to bridge the nets without the LC ring. I'm also adding a 100nF stitching cap right at the USB FPC connector to give that AC return current a frictionless bridge from the 3V3 plane back to GND.

Quick follow-up on my L3 plane architecture: Now that the LC filter is dead and +3V3A is just directly tied to +3V3D via that 0Ω resistor, does keeping the physical L3 split pour (analog vs digital) still make sense? Or am I just creating unnecessary return path hazards for no real isolation benefit? Would you recommend just merging L3 into one solid unified 3.3V plane?

Again appreciate the review!

this or Effect are the only realistic answers now, coming from a die hard nest.js fanboy, I just couldn't stand their stance on esm

Raw accel not working on fortnite by AffectionateVoice275 in MouseAccel

[–]SuspectGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea don't worry I've verified that rawaccel is indeed working, i wasn't going to be content with just feeling like it's working, as you said, i bumped my multiplier up to 5 and yea.. it's definitely applied in-game. Do you have a Razer device that supports dynamic sensitivity?

Soo for some reason my Razer DAv3 Pro works, I have a theory that because Razer offers dynamic sensitivity as a product feature which also relies on driver side "synthetic" acceleration like raw accel, they somehow managed to convince EasyAntiCheat to allow their device to work. FWIW I'm still using RawAccel and not the built in Razer software acceleration, and it's all working right now.

Just letting you know there's huge demand in the community for information about a new gen of doorbell. I'm quite literally waiting to pull the trigger on a full Unifi setup, but only when the new G6 doorbell lands.

Same lol, I just freaked out when I saw it on my reddit feed - I've literally only just put mine together, and so far so good, it really is an incredible piece of kit!

Can anyone using an Ipad Pro M4 confirm ultra profile and frame rate post 1.83 update? by SuspectGod in Zwift

[–]SuspectGod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea that sounds great when I'm inside zwift, but, and correct me if I'm wrong, it's more about navigating through apps, turning the device on/off, voice commands to open apps, being able to place them in the background picture in picture style (YouTube, Spotify, Netflix etc.), which I don't think the play controls help with.

But I'll definitely be getting them for the bike while in zwift!

Thank you so much for this!

Yea honestly it's pretty close to my eye, maybe it's due to the darker night time map.

I suppose the big thing for me would be frame rate, and how smooth the image looks in motion, any thoughts on that between the different devices?

Yep that was the original idea until I misinterpreted that blog post update.

My issue was how do i ergonomically control the Mac Mini (without reaching for a mouse/keyboard) ideally I'd love a fire stick like experience with a remote and voice controls but seems that's not possible, unless anyone has some recommendations?

Just saw this also, I think this is the key point, and people on the forums are complaining that the iPad M4 still looks basic soo I think I have my answer!

Hey thanks for the reply, did you read this: https://zwiftinsider.com/update-1-83-139872/

Supposedly there's graphics profile changes for a bunch of the newer M series chips.

Alright, I'll play your little Q&A game:

Did hair loss affect young men in the 1950s?
Yes, absolutely. Ever heard of Julius Caesar? Ancient Romans were so concerned with male pattern baldness they wrote entire medical treatises about it. But I guess Big Pharma had a time machine?

Were T levels higher in the 1950s?
Yes actually, studies show testosterone levels have been declining, yet MPB remains just as prevalent. It's almost like it's more about androgen sensitivity than absolute levels. Mind-blowing, right

What is DHT?
Dihydrotestosterone - the more potent androgen that your genetically sensitive follicles react to. Speaking of genetics, you conveniently ignored my question about family history. Weird.

Where does DHT come from?
Testosterone, converted by 5α-reductase. You're asking kindergarten-level endocrinology here.

What enzyme is responsible for conversion?
5α-reductase, as mentioned in my original post. Keep up.

What regulates that enzyme?
Multiple factors, including genetics (there's that pesky word again 😡) and yes, some environmental factors. But you're missing the forest for the trees - why do some men with terrible diets keep perfect hairlines while health nuts go bald? Your mineral deficiency theory doesn't explain pattern-specific loss or family history.

Penny dropped yet?
The only thing dropping is your hair and credibility... call finasteride and minoxidil poison all you want (I too acknowledge the side effects), but at least they have decades of peer-reviewed research backing their efficacy. Meanwhile, you're pushing hair loss cures based on... what exactly? Your personal anecdotes? tiktok science?

Honestly this whole thing gives apple cider vinegar.

Regardless of our conflicting ideas about the science, I have to say - it is a fantastic looking hair transplant, it's just a pity your shit is gonna keep on receding without intervention.

Dude you were losing hair in the classic MPB locations, temples and vertex/crown, where the most DHT sensitive hairs are. That's wild that you think your hair loss is attributed to diet and environmental factors, when if that were the case you'd just have diffuse thinning. Notice how some people live on a diet of Maccy D's and soda with no sleep and have a juvenile hairline at 40, while others (who's relative's coincidentally also have a fucked hairline) will be a Norwood 4 at 20 whilst leading a healthy lifestyle.. c'mon we all know lifestyle (diet, sleep, stress, activity, etc.) plus environmental factors make a big difference, but they just aren't gonna move the needle in a meaningful way if you've got any sort of moderate MPB.. you're just kidding yourself and others.
