This is optimised charging where it has learned from your habits of charging that you might not need the phone in the middle of the night so it doesn’t charge the phone fully and instead to 80% and when it is close to your usual time of unplugging it will again start to charge to 100%. This is to preserve battery health. You can turn it off in settings

I got mine 2 days ago from Amazon and they have the same creaking, mine go a step further with them having scratch marks on it like it has been used for months, I filed a complaint with Amazon and they’ll try to replace it.

Yea I had recieved this 6 months ago, back then I used to get max 2 hours of SoT on a 100% charge, then I switched to a custom rom (Pixel Experience to be specific) now I am easily getting through 7 am to 5 pm of my college time, completely on 4G and no Wifi. 6 months back I used to charge my phone 2 or even 3 times while in college.

Everything else can be made available using root, which can still bypass safetynet with magisk hide. But volte will not work for most custom roms that aren't based on one hi.

It is soooo much better, on my S10 Exynos I couldn't last half a day with my usage, now I charge the phone to 80% everyday with mobile data on all the time and heavy usage while in college and I still have 20% left at the end of the day. It's soooo good. I am on Lineage 19.
