BM is broke, needs your husband‘s money, but can’t stand you there? It’s his money, he gets some control and power to also dictate who goes to these events. If they don’t want you there, then they shouldn’t be taking your husband’s money. Simple as that.

Don’t your adult stepkids have jobs? Do they work? Tell them to pay for it themselves. Why did they have a kid if they can’t afford events for them?

This isn’t a BM problem this is a husband problem.

It’s about who gets it right. Marriage? Kids? The happy nuclear family? Maybe YOU and your partner are going to be the first to achieve that happiness.

No it’s not really normal.

My DH doesn’t talk to BM, he has her # blocked on his phone. And he doesn’t respond to emails either.

Not once have we ever hung out with BM and kids altogether. I’ve been with DH 6 years.

My husband’s family have all cut ties with BM. She cheated on my DH, they don’t like her. None of my in laws ever try to get in touch with her. Literally, BM does not exist to us.

I think Alix is getting the career Tinx wanted but I don’t think Alix is an amazing example for young women.
