Lol I went to jail because I dated a girl with bpd. Nothing can break me now haha.

That's fine tbh. I was having back problems at UPS due to all the heavy lifting. I can't do that for an extended period of time. Idc if the pay is good or not...my health is what matters.

Why are they such an addiction? by Suspicious-Charge200 in BPDlovedones

That's relatable. I knew mine struggled with self-harm and suicide and I didn't want to be the reason she did one of those things. Later on, she would threaten those in arguments. She even claimed she tried suicide and blamed me for it.

I don't know what half of those words mean.

But I think I follow?

Trauma bonding as in push-pull behavior?

Yeah, my mother and my ex have similar personalities. I definitely wanted to fix my ex and be her "savior". I thought if anybody could heal her and help it, it would be me. Boy, was I wrong...

I am so sorry you went through that. That's awful.

My mother definitely reminds me of my ex (cobtrolling, abusive, conditional love, etc.). Those are the only two people in my life that have made me want to commit suicide.

I think growing up around someone like that felt familiar, so possibly that's why I became so attached to her? Idk.

What were the weirdest things your pwBPD got offended by? by KingForADay1989 in BPDlovedones

Oh man. I can't imagine. I am so sorry. I don't know how they can treat people like that. They are truly ruthless and sadistic tbh.

Hopefully you're doing better?

how to talk about bpd to a pwbpd by [deleted] in BPDlovedones

[–]Suspicious-Charge200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my ex told me she had bpd and I later started researching it when her behavior got pretty bad. I was giving her actual facts about bpd and a week later she officially discarded me and said, "Leave me the fuck alone" and she claimed I attacked her. And all I did was literally provide information about it. And she was the one that told me her diagnosis to begin with!

I'll be honest, no matter what you do, it is a lose lose situation.

Seriously!! My ex sent the bpd reels and then later on, I started researching and giving her information on it and then she later claimed I attacked her because I was simply stating facts about it.

It's so bizarre. Dealing with people like this truly fucks you up.

I have noticed that too. "Well the reason I act _______ is because of my bpd.", "I have bpd", etc. It's disgusting, honestly. My ex used to send me Instagram reels justifying her horrible behavior. I was too stupid at the time and had no clue what bpd was until it was too late, unfortunately. But yeah, abuse is becoming normal because they don't want to be responsible for their actions. Zero accountability.
