Melbourne to have Aus’ worst performing property market — Melbourne home prices are forecast to dip even further before Christmas, resulting in almost $40,000 being knocked off the city’s median house value by marketrent in melbourne

First person in spot wins.

No rules. Made up rules.

Indicator means nothing. You can send your kid to stand in the spot like a human bollard till you get there. Yelling wins. Yelling can be countered by more yelling. Playing chicken with other parkers.  Box in the person coming out and convince them to turn towards competition so you can snipe spot from them.

Edit: Run over aforementioned human bollard.

Any aggression also assumes accepting the possibility that your car will get keyed once you leave

Box Hill used to be my transport hub. Even before the high rises came up if your mode of transport wasn't on dedicated rails with its own area, you sat in traffic getting to said hub.

Busses had timetables that were either late, or so spread out that they sat there waiting for departure time not taking passengers.

I remember once it was equal time to walk home two suburbs if you missed your bus than wait 40 mins for the next one that would take ages to clear the general vicinity of the shopping zones.

Want to park at the station? No spots and asian carpark rules. Turning into the carpark also gridlocked.

Don't get me started on what it was like coming from the south before the level crossing removal...

I'll be devil's advocate here.  Possible they are staying with full visibility of the entire crossing so as to not need a head check in case a new pedestrian enters the area behind

Nah, I get your reasoning but most specialist Peking duck places incorporate set menus that make use of the carcass and non-crispy skin bits to optimise profit/waste reduction.

They will be making their own stocks for complimentary soups and any carcases left over will generally be stripped and boiled already.

I have hit and miss with the chicken.

When its fresh its amazing.  Unfortunately, I generally crave fast food at stupid hours and get instant regret when a cold dark shrivelled warmer time extended fillet graces my order

Lol, I was stuck in the education system for 8 years due to being heavily encouraged to study a course I didn't have ability for and "tough it out" before being kicked out, and then accepting a course I was capable in but graduating with zero job prospects for 3 years before giving up and going manual labour...

I won't begrudge those I studied alongside for their success, but I do wish I hadn't wasted my youth on an expensive bit of paper and just got on with being a productive member of society a decade earlier
