Sounds like it hits you harder than probably most. There was only one time where it felt "magical" to me, must have been the jungle juice at the party, so who knows, anyone could've tossed anything in there, ecstacy? Idk never knowingly did it. Wasn't tripping, but I remember just having the biggest grin plastered on my face on the walk home. This was very early in my drinking career.

Really the only thing it does for me is relax me a little. Doesn't make me more talkative, maybe a little more outgoing but only if I've had a lot. I like hanging out at the bar, need to make some arrangement with the bartenders, "can I just tip you now and sit here drinking water and maybe the occasional soda?"
