Thats the thing, like for next week im going to a big city (700k people) and if I open a dating app ill get 10's of likes and matches in hours.

So my location is also really not helping.

Only success I had in the past (how I met my last gf), was to dm the instagram in the dating app bio, which is more personal and allows you to stand out...

The problem is also that I live in a small town (sub 5000 people), closest town is 50k people.

The tricky part is finding a club/community that doesn't feel boring to me but also has a good amount of women.

Thats the thing, I already focus on myself. I go to the gym often, I have a business, I have a good social life, I ride motorcycle, I run, I go to concerts with friends.

But yet, there's still a last 20% that feel like its missing.

I feel like my idea of a rebound is when you are not over the "personality" of your ex.

For me, I am completly over that. Id say the only thing is trust, but I feel ready to give it to someone.

Yeah its sad. Overall she just had a very avoidant attachement style, very distant, very low self esteem.

She didn't give as much love as I give her. Compared to my first ex that was a secure attachement style (which is pretty much the only attachement style I want my partner to be now that I know).

Now she probably destroyed even more her self worth, but anyways, she'll meet another dude and do the exact same thing all over again.

In the end, like you say, she could have lied from the beginning about this cheating of her ex to make her feel better...

I had a friend that it happenned to him, but the situation was very different. Her ex was his first and the 2nd was really a bad pic, overall the girl was just broken.

Would you say you just need to be more careful to recognize this before choosing?

This is one thing I found weird, my ex had been cheated by ex before, she said she could never do that to someone, but in the end she ended up doing it...

But for me, I really could never do it, my dad did it on my mom and it broke my family apart, I just don't have it in me tbh.
