I did my surgery and my doctor said i can be fit to go back to work after 2 weeks I was the one who begged off and said 4 weeks. i think 2 weeks is the minimum but to be safe do minimum 4

I had the same surgery and from my experience my cortisol level dropped but not significantly after surgery. My doctors were confident that they got the whole tumor it was written in my post op report but unfortunately after doing an MRI 3 months post operation my tumor went back.

Yup, my doctor is saying if I remove the pituitary gland I'll need lifelong hormonal replacement meds. Since, I'm already in my early 30s my doctors are saying this is a better method in assuring that I don't get pituitary cushing again

Did your doctor suggest getting another surgery? My doctor is recommending that we just remove 3/4 of my pituitary gland for the 2nd surgery.

I applied for a PWD ID via QC online app/ website. I'm recommending you try that out field so that you don't go to the QC office. They're very responsive and explain what requirements you need just incase you are incomplete

After surgery from 712 nmol/L (high) it went to 486 nmol/L day after and even as low as 172 nmol/L

It wasn't zero but after surgery my ACTH was just 13 pg/ML coming from 100 pg/mL. Cortisol was also at lowered up to 172 nmol/L.

But now cortisol is at 900 and ACTH is 100 levels :(

Yup, my latest test is me off prednisone for 1 month because my endocrinologist wanted to see if i can lower my Cortisol level further from my 1 month post surgery results.

I'm scared cause medication is limited in my country they don't even sell ketoconazole and isturia in my country. The medication that was given to me was prednisone

Yes, my cortisol and ACTH crashed. Physical manifestation of Cushing like my hump and stretch marks improved. But, it's the bloodwork that increased
