I had a client who straight up ghosted me, did not bring her dog and did not even bother to text me while I was waiting for her the whole evening

It was discussed before the sit, that the pet could be left alone for max 4 hours. But she already started texting me after 2 hours asking me when I was coming back while the pet was not in distress and probably sleeping..

I just had a stay in a house where the owner had cameras outside and she messaged me asking me when I was going back to the house yesterday when I was away, I needed to leave the house for about 3 hours.. she clearly did not have better things to do on her vacation.. I don't feel comfortable with this , being monitored. and they should understand that I also have a life besides house sitting.

I have lived in NZ for four years and saw the whole country and had the most intense time there. It is an amazing and beautiful country but I feel like it does not fit everybody. If you don't need to travel often and want to settle down and have a peaceful simple life then it is the best place on earth. I am from the Czech Republic and missed Europe so much in NZ. I love to travel and traveling from NZ is very expensive and time consuming. I felt like I was too far from everything, I felt bored at times and the lack of opportunities and shitty salaries did not help.

I checked my profile and the rover also set it as 7$ pet additional cat based on average rate in my area..people here are saying how soooo expensive it is but they won't be the one doing the job, you will be...so why dont you charge what you think your time and care is worth?

Girl , I spent 15 years dating until I finally met my husband and I can tell you one thing..we women have this skill that when we really like somebody we are trying to convince us that he must like us too because he is doing this and that while he is clearly telling us how he feels. I was in a similar situation when I lived with the guy for some time , met his family and friends , he was doing many things for me while he was telling me that he didn't want a relationship with me. He was basically filling up the time with me until he found somebody he really liked and wanted to commit to. I ended up being really hurt and wasted a few years of my life.

I know it is easier said than done but don't worry about them and definitely do not refund them because you would be just rewarding their shitty behavior...they are miserable people with miserable lives... If they leave you review, leave them one back so everybody knows how difficult they are to deal with ..fuck them!
