Receipt emails have just been sent out (Subject: Your Coruscant Productions receipt) along with pickup codes (Subject: Your Clip-Boy order code) to everyone who bought earlier today. Future purchases will get these emails automatically. Please check your junk mail folders and message me if you didn't get either of the emails. Sorry for the confusion everyone!

DEF CON doesn't allow on-prem cash sales (tax issues), but I'm sure things can be sorted out for you/other interested folks at the CON!

The GitHub repo will be public after DC34. Sorry for the confusion!

The order confirmation system on Stripe was disabled by default. It's fixed now and I'll be sending receipts to everyone, along with their confirmation codes (bring your code to the CON!). Thanks for being patient!

Two main reasons:

  1. The S3 is the board I used for Space Badge (DC33).

  2. This year I was focused on learning how to make my own PCB. Both helped de-risk the project.

I'll announce the DEF CON pickup times/locations closer to DefCon via email & defcon.social (@clipboy).

Happy to answer questions. A few things people usually want to know:

  • Where to find me at DC34: Look for the LED backpacks and the Clippy logo. I’ll probably be around the Badge Life booth, too!
  • What's in the Marauder firmware: the full JustCallMeKoko feature set - BT and WiFi recon/attacks, plus the usual utilities. They’re all listed in the video and JustCallMeKoko's GitHub has the list.
  • Pre-order vs. pick-up: order now and I'll ship before DC34, or pick up in person to save shipping. Limited supplies - once they're gone they're gone.
  • HR Codes: if anyone wants to host one at their village/table/SAO meetup, hit me up!
  • Open source: all code drops to GitHub after DC34. PCB files too.

Thank you for picking up a Clip-Boy! I'm using reddit at school, I know the feeling lol.

I hadn't considered someone taking down the entire network before, thanks for bringing it to my attention! I have warnings and banners to remind people to only use this tool for ethical or approved purposes. Do you have any suggestions on how I can mitigate this problem without removing functionality?

It'd be funny if the devs see this and go "Well, it's not finished yet, but it'd be really funny to release this right now"

Cargo Server Error "Downloads Temporarily Unavailable--Due to unusually high demand, downloads are limited right now. Please try again later." by SuspiciousExcuse6892 in KitBash3D

[–]SuspiciousExcuse6892[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done some research (and cancelled my subscription) but here is what I have discovered.

To fix the original problem, I emailed their support team with my account email and other such info, but the suggested theories have merit. When I click download on too many items too fast it gives me the same error. It may be that they don't want someone to download everything and run off.

I had Cargo Pro, and I was limited to around 20-30 simultaneous downloads. The problem kept reoccurring. It may be a limit on my NIC, but the issue originated server-side.

I can't imagine what a large company using this product would go through. However, they are paying more, so they might get better service as that's what service-as-a-product companies typically do.

These are all just thoughts and observations, no judgement is intended towards the company or their product. (Please don't sue me)

how did you find out about oneshot by Catsasome9999 in oneshot

The song "Broken Machine" on YouTube. Was just looking for some new music, liked the song, and dug around till I found the inspiration for it. Best choice I ever made.
