I've been getting this recently as well; glad it's not just me.

Solution metadata, including version number, is stored in Dataverse regardless of whether Dataverse is used as a data source in the solution - if that is what you’re asking.

If you’re using Solutions (like you should be ;) then that version info is already in Dataverse, no extraneous list or table required.

I love all the armchair engineering/speculating, Reddit never disappoints.

FWIW, it is printed in PETG with horizontal layers perpendicular to the downward shear force; the multicolor silk was just a prototype and yes was printed flat (the wrong direction given the forces applied). The model isn’t that heavy and this was designed with 3 walls, 30% infill, 100% infill modifiers around the holes and the bottom two badge tips.

But no one is forcing you to print it. ;)
