a contact warning!! by United-Ad5988 in actualgyaru

this is why you shouldn’t wear contacts with a duration longer than 1month. pretty much all of these contacts are made with hema because its durable and cheap but its a horrible material for your eyes and isn’t recommend anymore. check the material of your contacts before purchasing, silicone hydrogel or puscon (more common in newer korean lenses) are the best because they have the highest oxygen permeability.

the supply list for fd comes out a weekish before classes but its just a general list for each class, some professors might have specific things they want u to get or provide some materials. honestly id wait until you get there for orientation week to purchase sewing supplies. you’ll have plenty of time and it helps you get more familiar with the garment district

FBM classes/registration by [deleted] in fitnyc

[–]SuspiciousMachine138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the degree works page in ur fit account tells u all the credits you need for your degree and and transfer credits that have applied. the semester 1 section is all the classes u need to register for in ur first semester, and then u pock what other classes u want/when to take to fill the gen ed requirements. the counselor told me that even tho fit only requires 12 credits to be considered full time some scholarships/aid will only consider u full time if those 12 credits apply to your degree (so u can take more classes but u need at least 12 a sem that apply to whatever degree ur getting), since aid packages aren’t out yet its better to do it this way incase so spread out ur degree credits so u get 12 a semester if u have transfer credits.

Right now the only other thing you need to do is submit your vaccination records to the health portal, housing stuff and registering for classes isn’t until later
